Liked: It was quirky and unique, there was a kitchen, laundry and internet service. The place is old and has character, so it's not for those who only prefer brand new hotel atmosphere. Both of the receptionists were very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Nothing really to speak of.

Liked: I stayed in a single room which is located just around the corner from the hostel. The room was small and in the eaves which would be challenging to stand straight if you're taller than 5'10". However, it was clean and good value for money. It shares a bathroom with a double room and there is also a 4 bed dorm with its own bathroom. The staff at the hostel were friendly and helpful and it's ideally located in the old town. You can get vouchers from the hostel to have breakfast/lunch/dinner at a local restaurant which is cheaper than the menu and the dinner and breakfasts I had were fine.

Liked: great location, Milian was a great host that knew a hell of alot about the region...plus enjoyed our chats about football. good social aspect too

Liked: The first night, we were the only guests there. And we hang out with Miljan, the guy who just started working there. We talked and talked for many hours! He was so helpful for our trips and gave some info on buses, etc... Now we made it to Kosovo, thanks to him! The location could not be better. It's less than 10 min walk from the bus station and it's easy to walk around in the old center even if you have a huge suit case. There's a huge kitchen and several hang out areas on each floors. I highly recommend it! And thank you again, Miljan. We had a pleasant stay!

Liked: the location. and the girl working at reception, but now she moved to another hostel...

Disliked: the shower was blocked, not too clean.

Liked: Perfect location in a stunning town, and nice rooms. Also, Jelena is one of the most hilarious receptionists you'll ever meet: talking (and possibly sharing a beer) with her was one of the things I'll never forget about Kotor.

Disliked: Nothing really. They have another property called Montenegro Hostel 4U which is newer and really nice too

Liked: the serbian receptionist was very friendly at the other hostel - hostel4u

Disliked: one toilet for the whole floor the advertised transfer and tours were not available no staff knew any of the bus times and the information on the wall was out of date

Liked: In the centre of the old town, and fairly reasonably priced.

Disliked: When we got there, there were lots of people waiting in the reception. It seemed the staff were a bit overloaded.

Liked: It was located inside the old town, the accommodation we stayed in was quite large. Though, it depends what location you have as they have different houses they rent.

Disliked: Friendliness of the staff. They were quite stressed, but this resulted in complaining staff to us. This is really annoying.

Liked: I stayed in what appeared to be a newly refurbished room away from the main hostel where the reception is. The room was great, loved the shutters and that it looked out onto the little lanes below

Disliked: There was no aircon and it was extremely hot when I was there. They did have plenty of fans however which were somewhat effective
