Summer in the Kotor Bay is exciting not just for it's unique Mediterranean setting, but also for festivities which include the international fashion show in the historic town square; Boka nights with decorated boats, illumination and fireworks, Summer International Carnival; Theatre and Music Festivals held on unique stone stages; and a sail boat regatta plus many more attractions. Unique to the area is the traditional ritual procession of boats called fašinada where rocks are thrown into the sea to fortify the small island of Perast.
