Liked: close to the beach, parking included

Liked: Very friendly, relaxed, generous staff - didn't even charge when an extra person joined us for one night. The room was spotless and towels/linen etc were replaced on a regular basis. It had a safe and a small fridge, which was great for keeping cold water etc in the room when it's hot. Room has air conditioning and a balcony. The ensuite bathroom was big, with a very powerful shower. Location is excellent, literally less than 5 minutes from the beach, about 10-15 from old town and same to the bus station. It's on a side road with no through traffic so was very quiet, even with all of the beach nightclubs in close proximity. There is an outside seating area which is very beautiful, where you can also make tea/coffee. We had a wonderful stay here and would definately stay there again when in Budva.

Disliked: Nothing! The only advice for other travellers is to make it clear in your booking that you don't speak or understand any Serbian at all, as I think only the son speaks english, and he is not there all of the time. However, he was always available when we needed him and everything ran extremely smoothly during our stay.

Liked: The rooms were very clean.

Disliked: Our room was so small that my boyfriend could not stand upright. For the first two days we didn't have hot water. The landlord was never there, except to collect his money. No one spoke English who was there so when you had a problem you couldn't get help. Our serbian is ok, but the hostel claims to have English speakers. OUr car was scratched in the parking lot and the landlord responded with "I don't care" You have to pay in advance and there is a reason. The hostel is so unfriendly and unprofessional that you want instantly to leave. We paid for ten days, but left after three. We were so frustrated that losing 180 euros was a small price to pay to enjoy our holiday. I would NOT reccomend going there.

Liked: only a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Has tv, air-con, small fridge, kettle and microwave outside in the communal area. Clean.

Disliked: No atmosphere, very white and basic rooms.

Liked: Great rooms.. Close to bus station, sea and old town. Friendly family.

Disliked: Communication a little difficult, the old lady owner and the maid seemed to have a very small grasp pf English. They were very friendly and made us a lovely cup of Turkish style coffee. Wonder if the son/daughter were absent during our stay? a phrase book, or some knowledge of Montengrin/Russian would be handy if he's not around and your staying here!

Liked: Cheap,good location,lovely landlady who made us excellent coffee and gave a bottle of very tasty red wine when we were leaving.Garden is beautiful very good restaurants nearby .

Liked: The location is very close to both, old town of Budva and the bus station. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided useful information on Montenegro. Very good value for money!
