Liked: Good location and a good selection of books to swap. Also a DVD player for those nights when you just want to chill out.

Disliked: Didn't seem to be a lot of other backpackers here so difficult to meet people.

Liked: good location and a maximum of 8 dorm beds and two private rooms makes it not to busy/crowded

Liked: I stayed here for almost 40 days and although the guesthouse is small that is also what makes it friendly home. Eiggy the owner is here everyday to clean everything and she is also ready to help you out.

Disliked: No swimming pool and jacuzzi but what can you expect for that price?

Liked: I really liked this place and felt very comfortable in the friendly atmosphere.

Liked: The hostel is small but comfortable. Each bed comes with a big locker free of charge.

Disliked: There is only one bathroom but this never seemed to be a big problem. The beds are quite lumpy.

Disliked: Too small apartment to serve as a good hostel, only one bathroom, hot. Definitely not the best hostel in city.

Disliked: The bathroom could be cleaner (the washing machine's outlet is in the shower)

Liked: The place was clean and new, the location very convenient (short walking distance to all main sites in Ulaanbaatar), Eiggy very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: I stayed in private double room, which was large but very sparsely decorated (double bed, a tiny table, a chair). Could have used a closed or even some hooks on the wall. Also shared bathroom with 6-bed room was a bit of an inconvenience.

Liked: Good locaion in central UB, close to State Department. Good value for money. Eiggy was very nice and helped me buy a bus ticket. And the dorm was cozy, good place to meet people.

Disliked: Might have been very hard to find had I not been picked up at the airport.

Liked: The location was great.

Disliked: It is a small property, with many beds crammed in and only limited facilities. One shower/toilet/laundry for all, which meant you often had to wait. While there is 24 hour access, there isn't someone on site to deal with things late at night - like the shower breaking.

Liked: Pleasant little apartment and the location is fantastic - very close to Peace Avenue, a tourist hotspot in Ulaanbaatar. Eiggy was very helpful and provided a very efficient and cheap laundry service.

Disliked: It is a small place, with one bathroom. Also most of the DVDs are either not in English or do not work, though this is only a minor complaint. Would be good if breakfast was included. This guesthouse does not actually organise tours or excursions as it claims. There are however a few places in the area where these can be organised - I highly recommend 'Radiant Sky Tours' on Peace Avenue.

Liked: great location to get out and walk around to see all the hot spots. make sure you have the hostel arrange airport pick up because the hostel is inside an apartment building with no signage outside or a way to get into the building if you are to find its location which is unlikely.

Disliked: not a big probelm but only 1 bathroom

Liked: Eiggy the owner is great. She is very helpful and speaks good English. The hostel is a flat on the third floor of an old cold war Russian built apartment complex. Although the outside of the building is quite ugly the apartment is cozy and clean. The location is great. I took the single room and was quite happy with it. The flat has a certain kind of charm despite the old architecture. Eiggy really makes the place feel like home. Good vibes. Also, this Guest House is very popular with Peace Corps volunteers during their time off in UB. Eiggy manages a couple of other locations. The one I stayed at is the main hostel located behind the State Department Store. Overall I thought it was safe and secure but as anywhere in UB you need to be a little more alert at night. If you arrive by train, request a free pickup at the station as the apartment can be very hard to find the first time. Also, there's a kitchen and fridge you can use. Free Internet.

Disliked: The flat is small and with a full house it can be a little cramped. Kitchen very small and there's only one bathroom. However, I was there during a full house and it really wasn't much of a problem.

Liked: Good location in the city and very clean room with TV, shower and Wi-fi. Value for money, a good sleeping place.

Disliked: Wrong instruction to find the hostel, which wasted us more than 30 mins,and finally had to call the host for help to find the right entrance of the building in the early morning. The hostel entrance not located in the main street, which we felt quite unsecured to return to hostel at night and always found some followers behind.

Liked: It's a nice little guesthouse with just a few private rooms and 1 small dorm. The owner is very friendly and helpfull.There is also a kitchen you can use. Located just off the main road (Peace Ave.) They can help arrange tours to Terelj National Park.

Disliked: nothing.

Liked: central location, get a key so can come and go as please, small kitchen with fridge. Good shower.

Disliked: Only one room, walk through to the kitchen.
