Liked: Las Margaritas Hostel is in a great location and the building itself is very nice. However the cleanliness needs to be improved on. The communal toilets and showers on each floor were pretty gross with hair, dead bugs and general grime going unnoticed by the hostel cleaning staff for what seemed like several months. They never replaced the toilet tissue and there was never any hand soap.... you have to be self sufficient if you stay there. Plus, I don't know when they last gave the floors a good scrub, my feet were constantly black from walking with bare feet. The patio is beautiful though and such a great view over breakfast. Plus the staff were very nice and the large pool and sofa room is very nice. I also can't complain about the price....all in all I was satisfied but it wasn't the cleanliest of places.
