How to get to Cenote Encantado:

From the Cancun airport take the ADO bus to the Playa del Carmen bus station (current cost is $106 pesos), then take another ADO bus to Tulum (approx $45 pesos). From there take a taxi to our Cenote Encantado Camping Village along the Tulum beach road (approx $100 pesos). The taxi driver can easily stop at the San Fransisco grocery store for a small extra fee. There also is public transportation available certain hours per day but you cannot board with luggage.

Directions for the taxi driver:
Ask the driver to drive along the Tulum beach road towards the Sian Ka'an bio reserve entrance. We are located 15 minutes from town, past the hotel zone and just before the Sian Ka'an entrance (which has an arch). If you get to the arch you went too far. We are located 1 km before the arch on the right side... you will see a sign which says “Cenote Encantado – 1320”.

If you rent a car at the Cancun airport, drive south along the Caribbean coast towards Tulum, Chetumal and pass Playa del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras and Akumal. You will pass the Tulum ruins tourist entrance then come to a stoplight in front of the San Fransisco grocery store. Here you take a left towards the Tulum beach hotel zone (sign says Boca Paila). You will come to a “T” in the road. Veer to the right (not back towards the Tulum ruins) towards the Sian Ka'an bio reserve and continue along the beach road, passing all the hotels and shops, until you see our sign on the right side.
