Liked: This was our second stay at the hostel. Very friendly staff. Great value for money, incl. breakfast. Centrally located, very clean and safe and secure.

Liked: Really good hostel. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Good you can book tours and buy bus tickets at reception as well.

Disliked: Internet a but slow sometimes. Also when you check out you can only leave your bags in the luggage storage until 5pm - so if you have an evening bus (like us!) you have to either wait at the bus station with your bags, or pay to store them!

Liked: Very competent manager (speaking fluent spanish, french and english), bus ticket booking available at the reception with no extra charge.

Disliked: very small rooms, almost invisible private bathroom, coldness in the nights (we were in San Cristobal in march)

Liked: The owners and staff, very helpful with planning trips etc. You can get your ADO tickets straight at the reception or get individual trips organized. Decent breakfast and hot showers, too.

Disliked: Nothing apart from the fact that we could first check in at around noon and arrived to San Cristobal very early in the morning and very tired. But these things happen when you´re travelling.

Liked: The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was really nice! The location is OK too.

Disliked: The walls, windows, and doors are zero sound proof, so we could hear people screaming and laughing just in front of our room early in the morning. In addition, we wanted to pay in USD (as the website stated) but they only accepted MXN at a very bad rate. Of course, the price we paid was the cheapest we could find, so we really can't complain. I would recommend the hostel anyway!

Liked: The location and the breakfast

Disliked: Staff were unfriendly, there were no curtains in the bedroom so very bright as there was a light directly outside the room that was kept on all night. The hostel was quite noisy as the doors were all made from steel so you could hear people coming and going throughout the night and early in the morning. We had trouble storing our bags for the day after we checked out. They wouldnt do laundry for us even though they advertise laundry service and we know other people got laundry done whilst we were staying there.

Liked: Very sweet, helpful staff. Nice breakfast. The room is not that nice, but compared the price, the staff work very hard to keep it clean and so it is so worth it. I liked it a lot.

Disliked: Due to the rainy season and the material of the floor(stone), it was kinda damp. But still, very clean staff

Liked: The breakfast was one of the better ive had in mexico and the staff was really nice and helpfull, and most poke both spanish and english. New towels every day.

Disliked: When you live in the house with shared bathrooms, there is no roof over the bathroom/shower area, which means that in the rainy season the hostel is flooded every afternoon and noght (not the rooms), including the kitchen. There was allmost never any toilet paper in the bathrooms and when there were it was wet. The rooms are really cold even when its warm outide, so its impossible to dry any clothes there, and all things kept in the room is constantly moist. There was no lounge area for when it was raining except the kitchen which closed at 9, and had a leaky roof.
