Liked: The hostel is clean, spacious and with all the usual facilities. It's location is perfect for the beach and all the night life. Many regulars return here each year- I met 2 from last year in my 2 day stay.

Liked: I liked it a lot and the staff were really friendly and helpful. As an older woman I liked that it was somewhat mixed in ages. One odd thing was that in the photo "album" online it showed people in a pool but we weren't allowed to use the pool of the attached hotel so that was a bit misleading.

Disliked: I don't know that this can change given the building but an outdoor courtyard would make it perfect. The location was very close to the beach so it was easy to be outside but a courtyard would be great.

Liked: Kathy, Ricardo and Juan (the nightguard) are really great hosts. They can give you good adivce on places, excursions etc.

Disliked: Since each dorm room has an a/c and a fan you sometimes feel like you are sleeping in a fridge unless you can compromise on more sensible a/c settings with your dormmates.

Liked: It is a cheap hostel, one block from the beach, the owners are really helpful and the hostel is very clean

Liked: I appreciate that I can step out the front door & see the sun set on the ocean, even if I don't want to walk the 1 1/2 blocks & sit on the sand. The Hostel is very large, very open, beautiful murals on the walls, a TV viewing area designed like an open-air room with thatched roof. Kitchen has a large, restaurant-style frig., plenty of counter-room, etc. Staff cleans the whole facility in the morning, again in afternoon, & again in the evening. And, add to that, the owners & staff are very warm, welcoming, & helpful. I will definitely stay there again! Sally Wright. CA, USA

Liked: Staff were fantastic and the location was great. Really nice common area and loved having the use of a pool as it is sweltering hot in Puerto Vallarta at the moment... Great hostel - would definitely stay again!

Liked: It was quiet enough to get some rest and walking distance from anywhere you needed to go.

Disliked: Pool hours, they close at 9pm, too early in my opinion especially with the hot weather.

Liked: everything! one of the best hostels i've ever stayed in...it's so close to the beach, the bars and so many tasty places to eat! and the kitchen is HUGE! plus kathy and ricardo are fantastic hosts! i met so many great new friends and definitely will be going back to stay here!

Liked: Staff were VERY friendly, hostel was clean and colorful with lots of places to hang out like hammocks and cushions everywhere. Free internet, good breakfast, couldn't have asked for more from a very economical place to stay!

Liked: I loved everything about the hostel!!! I really had a great time, met lots of cool guys and cute girls!!! Katty and Ricardo are super nice and very helpful. On my way back of course I'll stay here no doubt about it!!!

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff, clean, a nice place to meet other travelers. Great value for money and it's in a very nice area.

Liked: This is the best place when you stay in Puerto Vallarta. It is one of the best hostels we ever stayed at. Ask the staff for this great boattour.

Liked: The owners are super friendly and offer great advice. Everything is exactly described and it's one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed at. There are always workers keeping it spotless. Location is prime - 2 blocks from beach. And super affordable.

Liked: The staff was great; friendly and very helpful. It was within walking distance to nearly everywhere you'd want to go. The lockers in the rooms were huge, and there was a great common kitchen area with whatever you'd need. There were also washrooms in the common areas!Had a great time, and I would def stay there again!

Liked: Ricardo and Cathy are the nicest owners!! They are a new hostel but are making every effort to make the guests here as comfortable as possible...they even threw me a surprise birthday party tonight! :) Great hosts, the accommodation is excellent and there is always someone around to lend a helping hand. The hostel is always spotless, something which they clearly pride themselves on. I´d recommend this hostel to everyone!

Liked: its clean and safe. good location. nice environment. Fresh. rooms are little smaller than they look in the pic. But spaces around are really big to relax. its very comfortable. Ill recommended and stay here again next time.

Liked: Great location (2 minutes from the beach) in the south end of town (romantic zone), everything is accessable by walking with the option of taxis and the bus. There are so many little shops, restaurants, and caffees nearby with loads of culture in the area. This hostel is run by a couple who take care and pride in there place. If your looking for a great hostel this is the one.
