Liked: Really enjoyed the place, cheap and breakfast included. Basic but very well run operation. The location is only a short walk from the Zocalo.

Liked: The hostel is lovely, beds were a bit uncomfortable in the dorm but nowhere is perfect. It wasn't a party hostel which was nice as I wanted to chill out. Overall, it was good, I liked it.

Liked: We stayed for 5 nights in a private double room with one double bed and another single bed---it's really nice! We also had our own bathroom and toilet, and we enjoyed the time there. The staff were friendly and could speak fluent English that made everything easier. Hot water was perfect! The only thing we disliked was the music they played all the day. We highly recommend this cheap and clean hostel.

Liked: The free breakfast can´t be sniffed at - orange juice, coffee, toast and cornflakes, and the building was of a lovely old style. The drains were a bit smelly though, and as the rooms backed onto the courtyard it was a little noisey, but they were respectful of this at night.

Liked: No alcohol rule in the courtyard is a bit sad and our bathroom smelt really bad

Liked: I had a private room and it was great. The shower had great water pressure and the room was large. The breakfast is basic (cereal, toast, juice and coffee) but good enough to get the day started and if you want there are more options to purchase.

Liked: There was no warm water available in the shower in the mornings. I'd suggest showering during the night. The place is also a bit cold in this time of the year, I'd bring an extra blanket. The rooms had a lot of character and major plus from the balconies.

Liked: the gentleman at the front desk was super friendly and gave us a nice tour of the hostel, very clean, wifi. we had a nice large room with a balcony and for those who like it quiet, you can have a room facing their courtyard. the only problem was that they do not allow alcohol at all.

Liked: Mr. Casab, one of the hotel staff, was very helpful. And the music from the bar downstairs stopped before 10 pm as requested.

Liked: Lovely large rooms and courtyard in a central convenient location. Staff were friendly and helpful, and patient with my halting spanish!

Liked: This hostel is in a very good location with large clean rooms and comfy beds. It didn't really have any atmosphere and unfortunately I found one of the night staff to be slightly sarcastic because my Spanish is not very good.
