Liked: The hostel feels like it has been recently renovated - our bathroom was immaculate, better than any hostel I have ever stayed in. Our private room was huge and clean. All the staff were very friendly although some didn't speak much English - they all tried their best though so it wasn't a problem. The hostel is an easy walk to the Zocalo and is very quiet. There are heaps of cheap Taqueria's nearby.

Liked: it is as a hostal should be, nothing more, nothing less

Disliked: the showers weren't too impressive but then, there was always hot water

Liked: Great location

Disliked: I was there in December and the hostel was very cold- people slept in their clothes in the dormitory. With its large indoor courtyard area it would be great in the summer. You have to go through the larger dorm to get to the smaller one and the bathrooms. I was in the smaller one but my locker was in the larger one

Liked: it looks pretty, and the receptionist is a nice girl.

Disliked: You are not allowed bring alcohol in the hostel or smoke, the walls have big holes in it. The mattresses need to be replaced.

Liked: The room was very big and the included breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and location was great- within walking distance of everything.

Disliked: The bathroom has no window so stays damp after showers

Disliked: it's an hotel no kitchen, no free internet, termites in the ceiling dropping dust onto the beds. unable to lock, shut the roomat night. staff not very accommodating

Liked: good location, separate shower and bathroom next to the dorm, pleasant patio in the middle

Disliked: The staff wasn't really comprehensive. I told when I arrive I will stay one night and maybe an additional one. I didn't check out right away the following day as I wasn't sure to leave. In the evening it wasn't the same staff and they charged me the full night as I didn't checkout in the morning. They didn't want to hear anything even if the hostel was almost empty. In addition I have to underline that the internet is not included, pay attention for the exact duration you use it as they can ask you more than they should as for me. A towel is as well 5 pesos extra plus 35 deposit .

Liked: Probably the only hostal in the center of Puebla. Very spacious and clean room. The breakfast was ok (juice, coffee/tea, cornflake and toast). Very nice internal courtyard bar.

Disliked: The staff are not so friendly /helpful.

Liked: My biggest complaint about this hostel would be the noise - music plays quite loudly throughout and we were woken each morning by people eating breakfast: the sound just echoes through the building. We hardly saw another soul (despite hearing them singing in the morning, so other people were staying there) so not very social. But it was clean offered a decent breakfast and had plenty of hot water.

Liked: The hostel is really nice. We had a nice private bedroom with bathroom and everything was clean. There was a tv and a ventilator, too. The breakfast was good, coffee, orange juice, toasts, cereals.

Liked: The hostal is very well located, near the main place. The property is a tipical colonial house, very beautiful. The price is good for a room in Puebla. The room was very hot. There is no AC just a venti, so we could very feel the hot. To finish, I ld talk about the breakfast that is included. Very simple, Not very good in fact...

Liked: It was an o.k hostel. There were too many rules. You have to pay for breakfast if you are 5 mins late. No smoking even in the patio. It is not allowed to use the kitchen or the fridge in the kitchen. Too many mosquitos will keep you awake. The best thing about it is that it is close to zocalo.
