Liked: great location right near the shops and beach. When booking the hostel the web page mentioned a free breakfast,the first morning we found out they no longer include breakfast but the staff were great and sorted out food for us on both mornings.

Disliked: our room was fine but the bathroom could be updated and the ripped toilet seat could be replaced.

Liked: The location was fantastic - very close to the beach and the main avenue. The staff was awesome. They were friendly and very helpful. By the time I left, they seemed more like family to me than just the staff.

Disliked: The showers kinda creeped me out. Music next door was very loud and continued every night until the wee hours.

Liked: The location is good, in between the club area, beach and bus terminal.

Disliked: Our room did not have access to any direct sunlight. It had a strong mildew / mold smell to it. It was very loud It had a tiny tiny common area and the hostel had no 'atmosphere' The kitchen area was filthy The bagage storage was not in any way secure, just a corner of the lobby. Air con and tv were broken

Liked: Right by the beach and shopping area. Breakfast was a help yourself kind which i liked. Owner was nice,ready to answer any questions. Room had small balcony to sit and read on.

Disliked: As hostels go,it was good.

Disliked: Too many bunks in the room Not enough space and very dark and dimly lit.

Liked: Close to the beach, shops, busstation and supermarket. Staff gave honest info without pushing their own tours. Every day celaning and new towels were a nice touche.

Disliked: No well kept common area, kitchen was poorly equiped... it wouldn't hurt to buy some new post and pans now and then, and plastic plates are really no option for such intensive use.Breakfast was as basc as it gets, bread from the bag, milk from the pack...help yourself.

Liked: you HAVE to pick this place due to one factor: the location, its only a 1 minute walk away from the sea and we would go back and forth during the day. what people do nto write often is that the hostel has beach club and beach chairs, which is a great thing, i do not think you can find a hostel for such a price located so close to the beach!!!!

Liked: When i arrived they dint know i was coming and didnt have the room available id booked so they put me in a better room for the same price which was good... but they need to be more careful with this! Location was awesome, just 1 block from the beach. They have a kitchen and you can drink your own alcohol too. Free internet access! They have some events too like a free BBQ night and a free open bar night.

Disliked: Myt room mate got bed bugs from here... and they didnt do anything to change the bed.

Liked: The location is really good just a block from the beach, got special price (1$) for beach seat with umbrella, and cheap drinks too.

Disliked: The ambiance is not the best, not very easy to meet people. The one who are there have been at the hostel for 3 months or more. They stay in group, don't really mixt up with other they kind of own the place, the ambiance is really weard The kitchen is always dirty, the bathroom too quite old really need to be fixed A bar just open next door about a week ago so get ready it's pretty noisy. Breakfast is quite poor( toast and cereal)

Liked: great location. the hostel also has a deal going with one of the beachclubs so you can get a sunbed for USD$1. great a/c and lots of tv channels. kitchen to cook in. staff were helpful and friendly. didn't have a anywhere to lock up valuable in my room so gave it to front desk to lock up and it was safe and sound!

Disliked: wasn't the greatest atmosphere but wasn't bad either, just average.

Liked: The location is perfect.

Disliked: The wi-fi connection works only in the lobby... doesn't reach 1st and 2nd floor. The breakfast room is small and the food is really poor: toast and marmelade and tea or coffee. But for an hostel it's enought.

Liked: Great atmosphere,good staff,clean,safe,perfect location ( one block from the beach), a/c in dorms, big kitchen and tv room, kool common area........ you ll get every pennys worth

Liked: It's a basic hostel, but it´s all clean, safe, everything is okay, hot water, all bulbs are working, a/c and fan are serious , from the balcony you can see the ocean and the main quinta avenue. The location is over the top, the manager is superfriendly. I can highly recommend this hostel.
