Liked: Its a really cheap place for Playa del Carmen and the location is pretty good!

Disliked: There is almost never a person at the reception! When you need toilet paper, buy it yourself, its easier. At the beginning there were no water, then no hot water! Then was the toilet broken, so we had a pool instead of a bathroom. The pillows were very dirty.

Liked: No matter what you need, the team of the hostel is willing to help you! You get enough for the money you paid.

Liked: Nothing except the location.

Disliked: The kitchen was gross, too expensive for what it worths. Very noisy, no hot water and the staff doesn't care about you at all.

Disliked: Noisy at night & no hot water during my 1 night stay.

Liked: Only 2 blocks from ADO bus station and Avenida 5, and only 4 blocks from the beach. Dorm only had 4 beds so it was comfortable. Lowest cost hostel in Playa.

Disliked: No breakfast, poorly equipped kitchen, very little socializing, wi-fi does not work in the rooms or between 10PM-8AM when the office is closed.

Liked: Good value for money. Away from the 5th Ave, so it's quieter and less busy, yet very close to the beach, cafes, restaurants, etc.

Disliked: I was pretty happy here

Liked: There was very little aside from the location to like

Disliked: The corridor that runs beside the rooms acts as an eco chamber and people who walk by at all hours of the night wake you up. The huge front gate also makes a lot of noise when people come in and out at night. People also sit at the tables in the corridor at night and you can clearly hear their conversations. I had to ask people to be quiet at 5am in the morning. The cleaning staff wanted to clean the room at 9:45am by banging on the door like police. There were no towels provided. The shower was cold. There was only one computer working for use by guests.

Liked: Location

Disliked: The room was dirty, with ants and hair everywhere, the toilet leaked and never got fixed which meant the bathroom floor was constantly wet and smelt, shower was always cold, mattress was very uncomfortable and sheets and towels were dirty. The kitchen had no facilities to cook with so it may aswell have not been there. The only thing good about this hostel was the price and location.

Liked: you have a bathroom for room. And the room i stayed was a room of 3 people. You have a big locker in the room, you get a clean towel free there. It is a very quiet place if you want to rest at night. there are computers that you can use with internet.

Disliked: It is not a good place to meet people. the area to share with others is small. In the kitchen there are not very dishes to prepare food and it is just one fridge for all the hostel

Liked: Spacious rooms, 3 blocks from beach

Disliked: Staff were rude, inconsiderate and unhelpful. Kitchen was a joke - filthy and no utensils.

Disliked: Very noisy. Rooms on ground floor have no natural light and are in a kind of tunnel so sound echoes. Staff uninterested and unhelpful.

Liked: This was my third time at this hostel and I had a great time as always. Clean and comfortable accommodation for low cost and very conveniently located near 5th avenue in Playa del Carmen, can't ask for anything better. Long live Colores Mexicanos Hostel!
