Liked: The common rooms are very comfortable and nice. The gardens are also very relaxing and provides a nice sanctuary from the humidity.

Disliked: I stayed in a mixed dorm with ensuite. bathroom was horrible, filled with rust and the hot water ran out by 6pm. the bed itself was average, but I suppose you get what you pay for. The water here smells very strongly of rust and iron. It actually leaves a stench on your hands.

Liked: I was there only one night and to be honest I was expecting worst. Big dorm,clean beds, fans everywhere in dorm, hot showers,

Disliked: Bathrooms in dorm. Avoid like a plague the Café in the same hostel for your breakfast, expensive and bad, really bad breakfast.

Liked: This hostel is quiet even with a resonable number on travelers passing through. The dorm was spacious, had lots of fans and large lockers. The hostel was well sign posted from the bus station once we found the indian head which is the monument in the middle of the roundabout at the top of the road.

Disliked: The prices in the cafe and bar were very steep.

Disliked: Could be a bit more secure. The back door is open to anybody 24/7

Liked: Close to bus station and ruins road, and very cool lobby-lounge area, i also like the jungle setting, really pretty

Disliked: The directions were a little confusing, and could have been much more clear...there should also be more fans in the room.

Liked: New, modern, nice feel to hostel. Cafe and Restaurant good. Located in nice area and fairly close to the centre.

Disliked: No lockers in rooms, staff could be a bit more enthusiastic and friendly. Dorm rooms seperate from the main building.

Liked: beautiful place, well designed, nice staff, clean rooms

Disliked: a girl i was with waited an hour and a half for a sandwich in the restaurant upstairs, they only gave her 50% off the bill. the music up there really sucked when it got late. pity cos the restaurant is beautifully designed with a good vibe.

Liked: The staffs were very friendly and could speak English very well.

Disliked: The location was quite far from the center and bus station. The room was too dark and too hot.

Liked: A lot of place to relax and chill out and enjoy the afternoon. The surroundings of the hostel is like a forest and it's beautiful. Rooms are spacious and clean.

Disliked: Rooms are old and the the lock of the shared toilet in the room is actually not working (People easily see you in toilet or shower). The air-con in the room is only a big fan rather than an air-conditioner. Also, at a place hot like Palenque, why not put a few more fans in the common lobby so everyone can cool down a bit and freed from mosquitos?

Liked: The location is pretty good, cause it's close to the busterminal and to the ruins.

Disliked: The atmosphere isn't really nice, the staff didn't really help me, the breakfast isn't inlcuded in the price and you have to pay at least 45Peso for it, the bathroom wasn't clean and it was very noisy and hot in our room the whole night.

Liked: Good location, great restaurant upstairs.

Disliked: Had things stolen from dorm when i went for dinner, i was the only one in there. Did not feel safe, would not recommend for females travelling solo, unless it is peak season, even then security is obviously an issue.

Disliked: You had no warm water to cook. No toaster. Maybe because of the inhouse restaurant which offered breakfast.

Liked: Great location. Very safe neighborhood, and not too far from city center where restaurants are more reasonably priced than in the Canada location.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike. The stay was great.

Liked: Location was good and the staff were helpful. Also has hot showers

Disliked: TThe shower was not that clean - and it gets cold at night but you are not provied with much in the way of warm blankets

Liked: Nice little place in a shady jungle area, they have free internet and ping pong table and a huge tv. The upstairs bar is a cool place to hang out, mostly full of locals. The dorms were a little dirty, but facilities were adequate.

Disliked: Megan left no negative feedback.
