Liked: Casa Don Pablo is such a wonderful place to put yourself up for a few days while visiting the lovely city of Oaxaca. As you enter the foyer, you are always greeted by one of the wonderful employees. Every staff person takes great care to welcome the guests, and to insure their stay is a pleasant one. You will recieve a set of linens and your towel upon arrival. We were shown to our rooms, and given a purview of where everything was on the premises. And now there is a wonderful rooftop patio where you may enjoy your morning coffee, or sip a drink and watch the sunset. The breakfast is good. There are choices of eggs, beans, rice, toast, cereal, coffee and juice. Basic staples but enough to get you up and going in the morning. I will definitely return for another stay at Casa Don Pablo next time i'm in Oaxaca.

Liked: Nice friendly hostel. Great breakfast. Nice courtyard and roof terrace. Good rooms and internet.

Liked: The Case de Don Pablo really made me feel like home. It's really laid back, very clean and fresh. The breakfast, lounge area is open, you get the warm sun rays while eating or you can watch the stars while sipping a beer or having a mezcal shot. You'll feel very safe at this hostel, the main gate is always locked, you need to ring the bell every time you come home and you'll be welcomed with a smile anytime of night or day. Very helpful staff, always available.

Disliked: Breakfast was a little bit cold and dry.

Liked: Lots of hot water in the showers. Once I was the last person to use the showers in the morning and they were still hot! Staff is also helpful and the breakfast is good.

Liked: it's a very nice place to sleep, meet new people and know this amazing city. Very clean and on brekakfast time i could decide what to have everymorning. i highly recommend it!

Disliked: Breakfast is only from 8 to 10 am. I am lazy!

Liked: It´s a beautiful place with nice atmosphere. Loved the breakfast, too. Spacious rooms and hot showers. Quite near the Zocalo. Helpful staff, music playing at the reception.

Liked: Really clean, staff really friendly and helpful, nice relaxing atmosphere. Having 3 computers in the hostel is really useful as you never have to wait. Also a good location, close enough to the centre, but also quiet

Disliked: Would've been nice to have the TV in a roon, with a sofa, as it is out it the centre open part and only wooden chairs to sit on. The cleaning fluids used are a bit strong.

Liked: Frindly and helpful staff. And they will store your bags for 10 pesos for 24 hours (very useful if catching the night bus). Nice courtyard.

Disliked: Breakfast wasn't the best and the kitchen is a bit bare.

Liked: The wi-fi worked, but if you don't have a laptop, the computers are super slow.

Disliked: We hated pretty much everything about this hostel, from the prison-issue sheets and pillow cases to the fact that the bathroom and shower doors are made of frosted glass, meaning everyone can see you doing your (naked) business, especially at night when its dark outside and very light in the shower room. The food was disgusting, and sincerely added to the 'prison' feel. The first day was three folded tortillas with a watery bean sauce, the most feeble attempt at 'coffee' and jello in a silver cup. Jello was served everyday, as was the coffee. The breakfast was different, but always disappointing. The one day there was fruit, but as we came out to eat at 830, not 8, by then all the rolls were gone and we just got a small plate of fruit. Oh, and jello. Just don't promise free breakfast and then make people beg for it (no one EVER offered it, you just had to go to the window and ask for it) and prepare disgusting food.
