Liked: One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. If I could give a "good Plus" to the staff I would. Very friendly and helpful. They should mention on line that they are Biker Friendly! Fred

Liked: Very clean rooms, the rooms looked almost new! Fresh sheets and pillows a great roof top terrace and nice cafe.

Disliked: Every 15 minutes there was a loud whirring noise, I think the hot water generator perhaps. I could not sleep as it woke me up it was so loud! Shame because every other part of the hostel was great, a few blocks away from the zocolo but in a quiet area of town opposite parque Juarez.

Liked: very comfortable and professional hostel, and so close to the bus terminal: convenient too

Disliked: not a big problem: a 10 minute walk to the centro (but oaxaca is small anyway)

Liked: Great showers, really helpful staff, very safe and secure, two TVs with dvds, great location opposite a beautiful park, perfect for wandering, walking or running. 5-10 min pleasant walk to the zocalo.

Disliked: Beware: when staying at this hostel there is a very high chance you will be woken up every single morning at 8am because the walls are very thin and sounds travels!!!

Disliked: Nothing really, but if you are looking for a party hostel, this is not the one for you.

Liked: The staff were nice, the facilities were good - rooftop kitchen and seating area (only open until 9:30pm) two lounge areas, 4 computers. The hostel was well organised and safe.

Disliked: I was in an eight bed dorm and it was a bit crowded - less than a metre between my bed and the next one. Luckily the rooms weren't fully booked, if they were I think it would be quite crowded. It would be good if the kitchen were open 24 hours, or at least later than 9:30pm. That's all!

Liked: This Hostel is more like a hotel than a hostel. Great breakfast and fantastic location across the street from a safe and lovely park. Wonderful and helpful staff as well as an affordable bar.Met some super cool peeps that I ended up hanging and traveling with. Highly recommended!

Liked: Amazing place - very pretty, clean and welcoming. The bathroom was cleaner than mine at home, the showers were warm and spacious, the beds were comfy etc.

Disliked: Blankets were too thin but reception (open 24hours) would give you another so it wasn't much of a problem. Still, the hostel could solve this problem with thicker blankets from the beginning.

Liked: very clean Wifi 4 computers for guest use 2 large TVs and hundreds of DVDs to borrow

Disliked: The beds were made up every morning by housekeeping staff so that my feet stuck out the bottom. So every day before going to bed I had to completely remake the bed. I would have preferred their leaving my be alone.

Liked: Wonderful location, near donwtown and the bus station; in a very safe area. Great and very clean facilities.

Liked: great hostel. nice and clean, great facilities, nice staff, good places to meet people - good tv/computer areas where you can mingle. breakfast was ok.

Liked: Complimentary luggage storage was a great comfort on my last day. The staff is friendly and work hard to make all the guests feel welcome. They were extraordinarily considerate: helping me find a space to do yoga in the mornings, getting me an extra blanket, and setting up a Day of the Dead altar for everyone to participate in.

Disliked: The complimentary breakfast options are inadequate for those who don't eat meat and/or eggs. The only vegetarian/vegan option is toast with jam, which doesn't offer much protein, compared with the chilaquiles y frijoles.

Liked: The staff were super friendly and helpful and got us really involved with the Day of the Dead celebrations - we made our own alter and drank free mezcal and beer. The hostel was very clean and new. And the upstairs terrace kitchen area was a great palce to chill and cook and meet people.

Disliked: The internet /wi-fi was very on and off and cut out every now and then.

Liked: The perfect hostel! Great social areas, decent kitchen,free cold water and 4 plasma screens dotted round the hostel with cable TV so you can keep up with the premier league if you're that way inclined! Spotlessly clean, they even make the beds in the dorm and give you a fresh towel each day!

Liked: The best hostel I've stayed at. Hotel level service at a hostel. Great staff. Super clean, firm mattress with cozy blanket, strong wifi, hot showers.
