Luciana LorenziThe owner wanted to charge an extra fee to pay card. He said that as we have a card booking at Hostel Bookers could not pay more card .. only money .. or pay a fee !!!!! But how is this possible? If the site so we do reserve card?? The service was terrible. We give up to stay until the end of the hostel and they did not return the money because we pay card .. we stole a daily! Not at all recommend this hostel! Terrible! |

sarah whitleyits proximity to the centre was its saving grace, no breakfast no internet, no safe no bar, but has so much potential. |

Customer reviewGood spot and good value... but one caveat. I arrived about 9:40 PM with a reservation and the desk guy made a comment about not having an arrival time and thinking I wasn't coming. The place was sold out and I got Room A. One should always be careful about taking a room with a letter when all the other rooms have numbers! The room has a hard-wired mechanism high in the bathroom that emits a strong scent - my guess is to cover a mildew problem. It appears that this room may have been a large communal shower room at some time in the past. It is on the far end, under a stairway, and also gets a lot of the noise from the school children. After a 20 hour travel day, I decided to live with it rather than take off in a strange city looking for an alternative. The next day I looked around an all the rest of the rooms looked much better... so I recommend this hostel but suggest you check out your room and|or confirm your room with them and ask for a quiet, non-odoriferous room.. Also - the check-in guy charged the full amount, not deducting the deposit with hostelbookers. When I pointed it out, he still said the fee was correct. Only after I insisted he call his manager did I get the (small - but its the principle of the thing) deposit subtracted. He also made no effort to help me find my room until I'd wandered for a while... and never pointed out the kitchen and free water. |

Customer reviewWe liked being able to use the kitchen. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The hostel was painted very attractively in yellows and blues and the rooms were around a small garden with a wonderful tall tree in the centre. |
