Liked: Close to major attractions but not to bars etc.

Disliked: I arrived at 11am an though my room was available they insisted on a 3pm check in or pay an additional fee for the early check in. I have stayed in many many places and no other hostel or hotel has asked for additional fee for checking into a room that's ready and waiting. Upon agreeing to pay the extra charge, I was given keys for the room. I proceed to the room only to find the keys don't. I go back to reception who give me another set of keys. I go back to the room and the keys work. I open the door to find a room that hasn't been cleaned since the last guests (dirty wet towels on the floor, bed not made etc). I return to reception who now give me keys for another room. I get to the new room to find that the bedroom window faces the stair case and other rooms. This room has no curtain so everyone walking to the roof top for dinner/breakfast look straight onto my bed. I go back to reception to ask for a curtain to be put over the window. This was done some 8 hours later. So glad I paid the extra!

Liked: The receptionist named Enrique is the most helpful and friendly hostel employee I have ever met! Yola is an excelent cook and the dinner and breakfast deal is definitely a huge plus.

Disliked: The fresh sheets were not exactly clean.

Liked: central, good terrace bar

Disliked: If booking a room means you want to sleep then forget it! Bar open 'til the last one leaves, interior patio means SALSA echoes throughout the building, staff unsympathetic.

Liked: the localisation really close to the inner city. the cleanliness

Disliked: we were not told that they organise parties every friday and saturday nights, which prevent us from sleeping till the party ended at 3 am.

Liked: good brakfast

Disliked: they rent their roofterrrace to birthdapartys, so you have the whole night very loud music and drunken poeple in the hostel.

Liked: Breakfast&diner buffet, free access to internet, wide range of types of bebrooms.

Disliked: Taxis proposed by the hostel are very expensive, try to avoid them, except maybe to come from the airport. Otherwise rather use taxis from the city.

Liked: nice and friendly staff, only 2 min from zocalo, nice breakfast

Disliked: a little bit noisy in our room, but there are better one in this hostel...

Liked: The location is very good.

Disliked: WE WERE ROBBED, probably by someone who works at the hostel. We had a bag with a laptop computer and our passports stolen from our LOCKED, PRIVATE room. If you stay here, don't assume that having a private room will keep your possessions safe.

Liked: Cette auberge est la plus sale que j'ai pu voir jusque la. Les chambres sont remplies de cafards tout comme les murs sales et tapissés de ces bêtes écrasées. A notre arrivée les draps n'avaient pas été changés, ils étaient sales et plein de poils. Quand à la salle de bain elle était en très mauvais état avec du moisie un peu partout. Auberge vivement déconseillée !La seule chose positive est le petit déjeuner et le diner inclus.

Liked: Very central -short walk to the Zocalo. Good breakfast and free evening meal thrown in. Could have been cleaner. The only real prolem was the noise. Loud music went on to 3.30am one night - and people talking and laughing around the stairwell sounded like they were in the room with you,
