Liked: Close to the hardcore city centre, very clean and the staff is really freindly and helpful. And having a bar downstairs was pretty handy,too.

Liked: Great place to meet people, good atmosphere, very helpfull and friendly staff! And bartender Gerardo, said to be crazy, but he is so much more than that!

Liked: Everithing is aweson, the staff is really helpul, and the party at night they give tequila for free!!!, if you are really backpaker and you like party this is the places you can meet people from all over the world definitly i cam back to hestel amigo !!!

Liked: Location was great and it had a really nice feel about it... Bar downstairs was convenient without being massively noisy and the staff were really helpful. Also, the place was SPOTLESS... So incredibly clean.

Liked: Very good location, good facilities in general. Staff is nice & the tours were good value.

Disliked: Our room had a laptop & iphone stolen the nite we arrived, but then again that can happen anywhere. Hostel staff reacted well and did what they could as far as we were told.

Liked: Location was ok, but the city is so big you could stay anywhere and still be close to several attractions.

Disliked: Had my gear stolen from out of my locked luggage in my room. Security tape had a chunk of footage missing; enough said, really. I paid only $4US a night extra to stay in a private hotel room nearby than what a dorm at Hostal Amigo cost. The hostel's tour prices were about even, if not more expensive than organising tours through other companies.

Liked: I LOVE THIS HOSTEL!!!!!! It's amazingggg!!! Stay here or you are in Insane! Staff is amazing, so nice and helpful, great location, free breakfast, and great great tours.

Liked: Excellent showers. Mostly friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Disliked: Some staff a little bit pushy about tours. Thought breakfast could have been extended from the 10am cut-off considering Amigos considers itself a party hostel. 200 pesos for a dorm is overpriced.

Liked: Really fun party hostel, a great place to meet other backpackers! All the organised tours were great, and loved the bar and movie nights!!!

Liked: Atmosphere is amazing best hostel I've stayed at!

Disliked: No pay phone, although there are many along the street. Airport shuttle is not free but 150 or 170 pesos depending on your terminal, still cheaper than a taxi and easier than a bus.

Liked: The BEST HOSTEL I have ever been to! The location is perfect, the facilities are perfect but most important in my opinion the ATMOSPHERE was amazing! So easy to meet new people. Special thanks to Gerando, the bar keeper, who could down Tequila out of a bottle for 20 seconds!! Without him the hostel would be less valuable! I strongly recommend this hostel to everyone!

Disliked: Entrance and Lunch is not included in the 350 Pesos tour to the pyramids
