Liked: Nice ancient building

Disliked: Not worth the money! Rooms are just average and the toilets were either out of service, damaged or filled with vomit - disgusting! We went to Hostel Amigo one night later, better rooms and clean private bathrooms for almost the same price.

Liked: The location is the best.

Disliked: I literally stay on the fifth floor first night with no elevator.

Liked: There cannot be better location than this. 20 meters out of the door you reach zocalo area.

Disliked: Sometimes the water shut down. The air cannot really flow through some rooms, so it's hot in summer.

Liked: Excellent location within a few minutes´ walk from the Zocalo, lovely colonial building with great atmosphere, convenient for organising and going on tours around Mexico City.

Disliked: Large, echo-y building meant that every sound is amplified at night (especially if you have a room near the stairs like us), making it very difficult to get a good night`s sleep. Breakfast often ran out if you didn´t go in the first 30 minutes.

Liked: Very central located. Subway in walking distance. Less than 5 minutes away from the hostel. Wasn´t as loud as described. Very good location

Disliked: The area is dead during the evening. We even hardly found a place to have dinner- not to mention to find something to have a drink close by the hostel

Liked: Great location, however the incessant alarm coming from down the street kept more than one person awake each night! Good shower, clean rooms, just off the Zocalo.

Liked: Everything was great, the staff provide me lots of turist info and free map. the Teotihuacan tour was awesome im very happy and i will stay here again in the future ** Hostel +++

Liked: A nice big hostel, right in the center. They have everything you need, kitchen, laundry, computers, wifi, tv room. We had a nice big private bedroom with a huge bed, and lockers. The women's bathrooms were always nice and clean but the men's ones weren't. Breakfast was good : fruits, eggs, toasts, coffee. We took a tour to Teotihuacan organised by them and it was good.

Liked: This pleasant and clean hostel is a nice place to stay but we'll go elsewhere next time. We enjoyed the secure feeling once inside the door, as it's located in a central but rough neighbourhood, and the daily cleaned shared bathrooms are of a high quality. The loud late night movies can be heard from every bed - as there are no airconditioners so windows stay open - this grew on our nerves after a few almost sleepless nights. We also found a few more unique places in town, of course a little more expensive but we'll be staying at one of those in future.

Liked: Pretty good hostel, great location. Beds are comfortable, big lockers that fit your whole backpack. Only things we didn´t like were the lack of computers, only two for the whole hostel. Also there isn´t really a social area to hang out in, so not the best place to meet new people.

Liked: Very very noisy. Staff not very helpful - every request was treated as an imposition on their time. The rooms are a mess and the bathrooms not very good either.

Liked: It was in a great location near main plaza, shops and bars, and the breakfast was good (eggs, fruit, toast). There was a lot of stairs though and a bathroom on every other floor depending which sex you were, a pain. Plus they liked to clean at 11.30pm or 7am and the walls were paper thin!
