Liked: - Location - helpful staff

Disliked: Its not a bad place at all and its lovated in a very nice area (in between Roma and Condesa) very easy to reach Metro, Busses etc. but it lacks a social atmosphere maybe it was just at the time I was there but it was very quiet theres not really a good common area to meet people and the dorm downstairs is in the basement which makes it kind of dark as well as it is too crowded theres not really space at all.

Liked: Location

Disliked: Hot showers were not hot, owner is not friendly, no proper social area, main social area is in the reception. Not a nice place to stay because of atmosphere.

Liked: Good eggs for breakfast. This could be a good hostel but the attitude and rules and lack of area to hang out after 10pm don't help it.

Disliked: No alcohol allowed. No where to hang out after 10pm. Shit showers.

Liked: It was cheap and in a great district.

Disliked: The bedrooms were rather crowded - 5 or so bunk beds squeezed into a room with nowhere to put your stuff, I had to climb over the luggage of the guy in the bunk beneath me to get to my bed.

Liked: it's really near Insurgentes metro, durango metrobus station and near reforma avenue and genova, which have loads of bars/restaurants things to do etc. The metro lets you access the city really well and its really cheap. they'd just opened a bar too while we were staying there and drinks were pretty cheap.

Disliked: bar could be open until a bit later. But otherwise, no complaints

Liked: It wasn't great but it did the job. I picked this hostel because of the free airport pick-up but in the end my flight was several hours late so I couldn't take advantage of it. So I would recommend it if you need picking up from the airport but otherwise there are probably better places to stay in Mexico City. I thought most things there were average. The staff was nice enough but not going out of their way to help, the location was far from the historic centre but close to the metro that takes you there. The breakfast was good (try the eggs Mexican style).

Disliked: The showers were not great, a bit hit and miss, They tell you if you turn it on just a bit you have hot (but low pressure) and if you turn it on more you get cold (but more pressure). I went for the first option and got warm water on days 1 and 3 but cold on day 2. It wasn't super clean but definitely not terrible (bed sheets and showers were fine).

Liked: Hostel is located next to subway, and eggs are served for breakfast.

Disliked: The owner totally screwed us during our entire stay. He was very impassionate and unconcerned toward our accommodation. He was unwillingly to change our reservation due to his rigid cancellation policy. We ended up staying in the dorms and paying the price for a private. This is not only poor business practice, but also a lack of managerial knowledge. He also said he sent me a confrimation to pick us up at the airport and that was not the case. I gave him a week and a half´s notice and he was no where to be found. Be prepared when you make a reservation, because he does not care about his guests; he only cares about his money. Fue muy mala onda.

Liked: Excellent eggs for breakfast, friendly staff. Nice comfy lounge. Rooms are basic, nothing special. Shower rooms are on the small side and the bins really should be emptied more often. Once the shower room was a bit messy. Not very close to the centre but in a lovely area. Not the greatest place but perfectly ok. Will be heading somewhere else on return to Mexico City.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Disliked: Receptionist forgot to give me back the change. The internet services are insuficient. Only has one old computer for all the guests. Instant coffee

Liked: It was in a safe area.

Disliked: The bathrooms were a little dirty, you couldnt take alcohol to the roof top terrace and there were so many other rules to obey. (Its a hostel, people stay at these places to meet people).

Liked: the location was close to street food for cheap eats and the subway. It is also on a quiet street so we slept good at night.

Disliked: the bathrooms did not have anywhere to hang your towel or clothes. The kitchen is not properly equiped for self-cooking.

Liked: The facility is very well located, easy to get to and from there to other places, walking distance to zona rosa, and all the night life

Disliked: I wish the check out time could be later, 11:00 a.m. is to early. I will suggest at least at 1:00 p.m.

Liked: the locatione and the staff

Disliked: the private double room is really very small with little spaces for disposing stuff. The common bathrooms are little and with no spaces for your stuff. Not comfortable

Liked: really friendly and helpful staff who have a wealth of info for your stay. spent many a night talking with the staff as they were friendly, as opposed to staff who are unsociable. dorm beds are a good size too

Liked: Safety.Nice neighbourhood (near Condesa where there are a lot of nice restaurants and bars).For Mexico City, quite a clear hostel.

Disliked: The personnel was not really nice and helping. Remaining cost on hostel bookers was in USD, the hostel charged us the worst exchange rate to MXN of all Mexico City. No possibility to leave your bags after 11 am (although we did not need this). Poor breakfast (2 eggs and 2 toasts with tea).
