Liked: This place is perfect. The staff are so helpful, the breakfasts are excellent, the place is clean and after 23.00 its quiet which everyone respects. Great pool, garden and grounds. If only all hostals were as good as this.

Disliked: My only complaints is that there was no black tea at breakfast.

Liked: The breakfast was great! Also, on arrival every guest is given a pack containing a map, bus timetables and suggestions for activities in the area - really useful!

Disliked: There is a beautiful garden, but i got bitten to pieces by mosquitoes :-(

Liked: Great place, good breakfast, comfy beds and big matresses, nice pool area (just watch out for the mosquitos). Not a party hostel but still great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Liked: Staffs are so helpful and friendly! This hostel gives useful tourist information, reasonable tours and fantastic salsa lesson. I met many great travelers here.

Liked: Has a cool vibe and friendly staff. Had nice fruit as well as toast for breakfast. Private rooms were reasonably quiet. You can BYO Swimming pool area is nice, although some music would be great.

Disliked: It is a bit of a walk to the town centre, but no problem. There are not many bathrooms, but was never a big issue either.

Liked: This was probably one of the nicest and most welcoming hostels I've ever stayed at. The staff was amazing, the communal area of the hostel is beautiful!! Hammocks licated thruout the garden + pool access! Highly reccommend

Liked: Fantastic Pool , Central location, great breakfast included in price and very clean

Disliked: Work on the bathroom in female dorm happening during our stay, so we had to use communal anyway, they did give a discount after we complained, but we had to deal with men walking through the dorm all day. Very little cooking equipment (pots and pans ect) in kichen, no noise after 11pm in communal area.

Liked: Lovely swimming pool, very helpful staff, offered a lot of info on what to do in Merida, also let us leave our backpacks in their lockers for one extra day without charging. Nice breakfast, too. Great atmosphere, just a feel good place.

Liked: Nice pool and atmosphere. I was in a room with ensuite and the bathroom was very nice and clean. I cannot comment on the dorms and shared facilities.

Disliked: Could be noisy at night depending on who is staying, because many rooms are around a central courtyard.

Liked: lovely pool and loads of chill out space. good kitchen. staff were really helpful when we needed to stay extra days at short notice

Disliked: my partner found beds a bit lumpy, but a very minor gripe.

Liked: Decent breakfast, and of course the pool is the best part! ALso nice of them to give maps and directions and recs for things to do to everyone on arrival.

Disliked: Far from the bus station if you are doing lots of day trips...especially early in the morning can be annoying to walk there.

Liked: Big pool. Nice hammocks. Quite easy to meet people. Dorms were spacious. Location wasn't bad, but given that Merida is a small place, proximity to amenities could have been better. Showers and toilets were fine.

Disliked: They decided to have a builder tear out the kitchen for renovations whilst I stayed, but they didn't think to tell anyone in advance it was happening. The staff member who works in the evening is extremely unhelpful, refusing to even try to cooperate with the smallest request. The lights (and computers) get turned off at midnight, which is a bit strange - I saw someone trying to find something in the kitchen, having to use his laptop for some light, whilst other groups sat in the pitch black courtyard chatting. The WiFi wasn't very reliable, I couldn't get it to work outside the reception area.

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay at Nomadas Hostal. The atmosphere was great. The (huge) pool is GREAT and very relaxing on the hot days. Kitchen is clean and fully equiped. Private room was big and clean (with hot water for the one who needs it). Staff was very friendly and helpfull.

Disliked: We know that it is a big hostel but if there is a big group of schoolchildren (like we had) the hostel isn't that calm (luckely for us they were only there in the evening :)).
