Tucked away only two blocks from Santiago Square we are the best hotel value in Merida! We are a clean, comfortable place where everything works and priced the way hotels used to be in Mexico. Muy barato!

Aventura Hotel is a safe hotel, in case you are worried about that sort of thing. Each room can be locked from the inside and we have a night watchman who is in the lobby when the receptionist isn't in. The front doors do get locked late at night but if you get back later, the night watchman will let you in.

The rooms aren't incredibly spacious and they don't have a view. But when you get your bill the next morning, you'll still have lots of pesos left over for a good breakfast and a trip to Chichen Itza or Izamal.

Facilities include a 24 hour reception, free off-street parking and luggage storage

We pride ourselves on giving you a safe, clean and comfortable place to stay at rock-bottom prices. Every room gets cleaned every day when you are there. Every room has a fan, a window or two, a desk and chair (you are writing your memoirs, aren't you?) and a sparkling clean bathroom, complete with Mexico's ubiquitous Rosa Venus soap.

Location Information

Aventura Hotel is tucked away two blocks from Santiago Park, one of Merida's most charming parks. Santiago Park has a beautiful church, a thriving mercado, four or five of the cities' best cocinas economicas (good home cookin'!), a playground, a taxi stand, a park setting with park benches and a gurgling fountain, and a live Swing band with dancing every Tuesday night.

The Aventura Hotel is also just seven blocks from the center of town, the zocalo. You can walk to restaurants, museums, an opera house, two movie theatres, cafes and bookstores.
