Disliked: The room we stayed im was really disgusting. The roof was about to fell off and there was mold everywhere. It wasn't worth to book a single room b/c the dorms were way nicer and it was shared bathroom anyway.

Liked: Very nice lady taking care of the hostel, she is the owner. Breakfast was ok Good beds

Disliked: Far away from the city centre, about 20-25 min walking although it's not a big deal as there is nothing to do or to see in this city. Shared bathroom could and should be cleaner and better kept taking into consideration that the hostel doesn´t have tons of customers.

Liked: Nice lady and cute dog. Ok for a one night stop over, supermarket close by and has a kitchen so you can have a cheap meal

Disliked: Rooms were roasting despite two fans, no lock to dorm room and no lockers. Quite far away from bus station.

Liked: The owner of the hostel, is one of the nicest people we got to know in Mexico! The breakfast with cereals and bananas was a welcome change from other places.

Disliked: The hostel is a bit far out of the town center, but it´s still walkable.

Liked: Screens on windows. Breakfast included. Friendly and helpful host. Convenience store across the road and nearby. About 20 minutes walk from a mall which has restaurants outside and food court inside.

Disliked: Not very close to bus stop.

Liked: The privacy and safety were a big plus. We only traveled through Chetumal for a night to get to Guatemala so weren't looking for much..

Disliked: If you wanted to stay a few days it is a little far away from anything, we struggled to find dinner the one night we stayed. Not a great deal to do in Chetemul anyway so one night on your way through is fine..

Liked: We came here on a quiet day, but the staff were helpful, and everything were good. A good place to relax. The taxis are cheap, so just take a cap from the busstation to here. The owner nice and very helpfull.

Liked: This was a nice place with a friendly dog and a helpful owner.

Disliked: It was not near anything but maybe there is not much to see in Chetumal. It was a short ride from the bus station and close enough to stores to be convenient

Disliked: The place was like a furnace. Wasn't really close to anything. No atmosphere.

Disliked: grotty bathroom no lockers for luggage security chetumal is a boring town. i would not recommenbd travellers come to chetumal at all. if possible go straight onto next destination

Liked: The lady that owns the place is very friendly. The rooms are very clean.

Disliked: No airconditioning, only fans which were insufficient to have a good night´s rest. On the webpage of Hostelbrookers they offer to pick you up at the bus station, but when we called they were unable to come after us. When we asked the next day if they could bring us to the bus station, the lady said she couldn´t leave the hostel alone. I don´t have a problem with that, but please remove the "we will pick you up at the bus station" offer from the website since they refused twice in 2 days.

Liked: The owner was really nice, but the place is pretty awful given the price, didn´t feel clean and total lack of any decoration in room made it all a bit dire.
