Liked: You wouldn't take your mother to stay there but despite the peeling paint and the fact it has seen better days the room and bathroom I used were clean and the English speaking manager very friendly - and it's cheap. I stayed 3 nights in all.

Disliked: VIVIAN left no negative feedback.

Liked: The price! We found this hostel to be not at all fancy but we were in a good location, close to some restaurants; (we recommend trying Pescadillos--amazing food), and it is close enough to the bus station to make it convenient if you are passing through Cancun. the staff were very nice and the private room that we stayed in was clean, so was our private bathroom. The fans work, which is also a plus :)

Disliked: We didn't have a top sheet or blanket on the bed, only a bottom sheet. Luckily we were traveling with a sleeping bag. Towels weren't provided either, but we didn't ask for them. This is not a hostel for travelers who need trendy decor, it is very basic and down-to-earth, owned by Mexicans.

Liked: Location location location. I am staying. Room was, clean the bathroom was clean. I would not stay anywhere else.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: You get what you pay for! Honest deal! We just wanted a cheap place for the night and that was it. Helpful staff, spacious rooms. The first guy in Cancun who does not give a shit about money.

Disliked: U-shaped matress, not clean bathroom. But still, I have payed much more for much worse.

Liked: This property was simple, comfortable and very clean. This is by far the best option for the budget traveller who needs to pay the absolute minimum per night for a room. It was cheaper then any dorms that were on offer. Myself and wife stayed in a huge room with fan, TV (with cable), shower, toilet, sink, huge double bed and fridge-freezer. It does have dated interior but who cares when you are paying less than you would for a dorm bed which would have no bathroom, tv, fridge etc. It also has Wifi and great value i would recommend this. We stayed 3 nights

Disliked: Not great for meeting people and i couldn´t get Wifi in my room

Liked: So cheap, fan worked well, owner lovely and helpful. Shower fine, room airy and beds comfy. Exceptionally cheap for location.

Liked: If your on a tight budget, but don't want to spend loads on accommodation this place is fine. Its the cheapest place in Kancun so don't expect the Ritz, but its clean, the guys who run it are nice. Lined internet connection is really fast and 10 mins walk to bus station.

Disliked: Kitchen is poorly equiped, our first stay the shower didnt really work. Not a great place to meet others

Liked: This place was great for me. I didn't want to spend lots of money and just needed a clean bed to sleep at night. I enjoyed my time here as I knew I was paying for my whole trip as much as my friends were paying for one night. The only difference is they got a reception desk and A/C, I got Poncho waiting outside the gate to welcome me. He was great and worked hard to keep the floors clean and clients happy.

Disliked: I had a hard time finding it based on the directions they gave on here. But it is because the street veers off so I walked by it a few times as the sign "KanKun" was hiding behind some bushes.

Liked: The owner was lovely and let us help ourselves to all the towels and sheets we wanted...

Disliked: Bed Bugs!!! I have never seen bed bugs before but they were literally jumping all over the 5 beds we had set up in our double room!!! (yes 5 beds)

Liked: Very poor facilities, but ok for the money you pay. Not a clean place to stay, but friendly owner. Close to the center. I wouldn't stay there again, rather give more money and stay somewhere at the beach side.
