Liked: I really appreciate the helpful staff in Haina hostel, there was a nice guy who waited for us and lead us to the hostel on the first day we arriaved. And Melina provided us very useful information, and the bedroom is very clean. I like the simple breakfast for free. It is very nice to have a tall mango tree in the back yard. Wish we can try the Mexican mango

Disliked: The wifi suddenly disappeared on our 2nd day but it was still broken when we left, and also the cool water was not enough, we had to bear very hot water when there was not enough water supply. I saw a hundred-foot(centipede) in the shower room one night!! Luckily I was wearing the flip flop so it didnt bite me.

Liked: comfy beds, safe entrance, free filtered water

Disliked: It´s too far from the beaches, but you would have to stay in Zona Hotelera for the beach, in a five star all inclusive hotel or something. Generally Cancun is not worth staying at anyways.

Liked: The staff were all very nice, free internet, breakfast although it was very basic it was better than nothing!

Disliked: cramped dorm, bathroom not the cleanest with so many people using one!

Liked: Clean towels everyday, internet, books, hot water (not that common in MX), friendly staff, nice location

Disliked: Chlorine smell in the room; Be cautious when paying and make sure the price you pay is the same as on reservation!

Liked: The staff is friendly, and its central located

Disliked: It was dirty, and there was mold ALL OVER this place (walls, ceiling, bed, bathroom, water dispenser etc. You can even smell the mold all the time and really intensively! Its a bad place to stay if you want to sleep well!

Liked: Safe and secure. Internet on-site for those without a netbook. Rooms were clean and so was the bathroom.

Disliked: Common kitchen and breakfast area were manky and grubby.

Liked: The staff were great and the location is perfect for those wanting a city location.

Disliked: It needs a little bit of maintainence. I was concerned with the 3 locks on the door that didn't close very securely. People often knocked on our door thinking we were the office. Not that this was a real issue.

Liked: nos encanto las situacion ,cerca de una zona de rstaurantes, de un hotel con acceso a piscina pagando entrada y cena por 110 pesos el dia: el Plaza caribe :en frente de la estación Ado.nos gusto tambien el aire acondicionado. muy practico para esta zona.

Disliked: el desayuno era un poco basico. para la gente minuciosa puede molestar las huellas de humedad en la pared de la habitacion doble.

Liked: We've stayed here several times. It is reliably clean, quiet and above all SAFE. There is a locked iron gate at the entrance you get buzzed in through which I really like. I do wish though that you didn't have to get buzzed OUT - several times we waited and waited get get out while the receptionist was busy with other guests. Not sure why they do that.We like the coffee, juice and toast in the morning and the cheerful, sunny breakfast room. All in all, a solid, dependable, clean and safe hostel. Would highly recommend!

Liked: Awesome staff, nice rooms, good breakfast, decent shower/bathroom (although there is only one bathroom and shower has only cold water). At least when we stayed there, the hostel was pretty quiet, so it was good for relaxing but definitely not a party place.

Liked: This place is clean and has very comfortable beds. Also very handy if you are going to and from the bus station 4 blocks away.

Liked: Staff is kind and helpful. But besides this, very little pros. Nothing going on in the hostel, dorms are sooo small you can just sleep there and leave. Only take this option if Quetzal is full, they are right next to each other in the same block.

Liked: Really nice hostel, it has a good free breakfast and kitchen facilties, rooms are good, bathrooms in good condition and the staff are very helpful.

Liked: This is the safest hostel in Mexico! There's a locked gate and the staff is very aware of who's going in and out of the hostel. Staff is very helpful and always smiling. I had a good time; it's too bad that Cancun is not a very attractive city because I would have stayed longer there!
