Liked: location very close to beach

Disliked: bad service. Breakfast provided only after inquery.

Liked: Andres at the reception was very nice and helpful. The rooms are nice and the location is great, near coco bongo and all that.

Disliked: The building of the hostel is a bit weird, but it's fine. It's like sleeping in a mall

Liked: You get a nice bed in prime location to the beaches and clubs, everything was walkable. Also it's a bit different to spend the night in an abandoned shopping mall, that was fun.

Disliked: Doesn't offer much apart from the breakfast, however if you're not in cancun for beaches and clubs what are you there for? This hostel is in a great location.

Liked: LOCATION!!! right by the beach and hotel district, where the big clubs are, worth it just for that, Good beds, big lockers, air conditioning and fans. Good showers.

Disliked: There was no one here when we were here, memorial day weekend and a couple of days either side of it. Only used the kitchen to get some cutlery but there were ants all over it. One of the 3 members of staff we encountered was not helpful/bad attitude. From the comments it might seem like a bad hostel, but its more than worth it just for the location, rooms and toilet/shower etc good.

Liked: The mayapan was at a great location. Near the party zone so you can walk to your party destinations.

Disliked: The hostel bathroom is discusting. The first day was not too bad but as the week went on the bathroom was getting dirtier and dirtier and no one cleaned it. There was hardle ever toilet paper either. At the end of the trip the front desk was refusing to give me back my room key deposit because they made the mistake of not noting it down but somehow thought I should pay for there mistakes. Good thing I know the language because I argued my point and told them I would wait for when the employee who took my deposit during check in to come into work so that I could confront her and tell her to admit that I gave a deposit for the room. BTW... BEWARE.... Mexico is full of people waiting to take advantage of tourist. Even while being fluent in spanish I still ran into a lot of situations were people were trying to scam me and my friend for money.

Disliked: the lockers in the rooms are really esay to open even withou a key!

Liked: Eddy the receptionist is very nice and helpfull. But as the hostel is new...not all facilities are weel provided such as breakfast they made us skip it sometimes...

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.
