Liked: Loved this place, the staff were great, eally friendly and helpful, good for meeting people, spent 3 nights, would happily go back, you get breakfast and diner, good location! A*

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff with great tips for my trip. espacially what was important to see and what was not worthy..Very tasty meal, with great cocktails, free internet, nice room (private).I arrived very late but it was not a problem to get my reservation.

Disliked: Not close to the beach, but hey.. ;)

Liked: The staff where friendly and ensured all guests enjoyed their stay. In addition they gave excellent advice on local attractions offered deals to locals clubs and tours!

Liked: Hostel Quetzal is a fantastic place to stay. The atmosphere is as reported... a great place to meet fabulous people. Breakfast and dinner wth cocktails in the garden always hit the spot, and was also a great ice breaker for new arrivals. Good location near the bus station and despite not being close to the beach, it is only a short bus ride away. Monica is a great host and a wealth of knowledge for the area, who will make you feel at home and will do her best to ensure you enjoy your stay.

Liked: Deffinately reccomend this hostel. Monica the owner is so loverly and helpfull, we met heaps of cool people to go out with as well. The breakfast and dinner was some of the best food I ate in Mexico!

Liked: Everything was basically good. The atmosphere was perfect, staff was so so so friendly, the best part of his hostel. The location was close to the bus stop so it was easy to go, place was clean, service was the best, safe, and fun place to meet people!

Liked: This was my second stay in as many weeks, it felt like coming home! The staff are very fun and friendly, the club outings are brilliant and the food and cocktails are always amazing. Definitely coming back - best hostel in Mexico!

Liked: Dinner and breakfast were very good. The only bad thing about the hostel is that the main dorm gets very warm at night, making it difficult to sleep after the sun comes up.

Liked: Top Hostel. Great Food , Great Fun, Very very clean. I Felt more at home here then I do at home =D . Monica is the best beds over backwards for you.Luis great guy and also to go out with EVERY NIGHT! . Dinner is fun. it's impossible not to meet people.A must In Cancun

Liked: This place is amazing. Fun and communal atmosphere with its nightly dinners and cocktails. I also want to add, I got in an accident my first night there and not only were my roommates super helpful, but the hostel staff went out of their way to help me, even getting me crutches and accommodating my needs while I was there. Definitely recommend this hostel to anyone and hope to stay there again!

Liked: This hostel was fantastic!! The manager, Monica, and the other staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. The chef, Luis, served us with breakfast and dinner every day - the food was delicious.We stayed in a private room on the ground floor which was very spacious and had a gorgeous patio. The hostel has a very social atmosphere and the building has a lot of character with a beautiful outdoor area.I found the hostel to be safe and secure. The hostel front door is kept locked almost all of the time with a staff member available to let you in and out. We weren't provided the key for our private room (keys were available for other private rooms), however our room was close to the main entrance so there was always a staff member nearby. I believe the dorm room has lockers available.We were happy with the location - it is downtown and hence far less touristy than the hotel strip, it is close to several bars/pubs, a shopping center, food court, etc. It was easy to get around with taxis and buses (although ask for advice if going to the beach because the public access entrances can be hard to find within the hotel strip).
