The new hostel Quetzal opens its doors to Cancun´s visitors with the comfort and inviting atmosphere of a new hostel. Situated on half a residential block, the hostel was once a private residence of a famous performing artist.

The home was constructed with large rooms, arched doorways, high ceilings and beautiful interior decoration. Our new bilingual staffs are trained to give you a quality and comfortable stay, and help you with general information, tours, or disco tickets.

Five private rooms are perfect for couples, families, or groups of 2, 3, or 4 persons. Each room has a garden patio, balcony or terrace. All our guests are served a full breakfast and enjoy air conditioning, a private bath, cordless internet 24-7, fresh linens, towels, laundry service, 24 hour reception, free coffee and tea and fresh fruits 24 hours. Meet our guests, converse about your travels and enjoy our cocktail parties and barbeques. The sky deck has become a favorite spot for sun bathing, star gazing and late night partying. The en-suite dorm room is located on the second floor for quiet and restful nights.

Guests have spacious areas for activities whether it is the main garden enjoying a weekend BBQ, the sky deck for sunbathing or stargazing, or the spacious & comfortable common room for a movie, x box or DVD.

We have a complete kitchen facility and our staff will assist you in our kitchen and serve you in the adjoining dining room. Enjoy our cocktail parties available meanwhile we prepare to open our Latin bar with live entertainment where guests will mingle with local artists and students.

Location is everything. We're just 1 block from Parque de las Palapas, the largest public park in Cancun where you'll find cultural and social events almost everyday. We're one block from Yaxchilan Avenue where you'll find the best bars and restaurants in town. 3 blocks from the Tulum Avenue, Cancun "main street". From there you can take public transport to the beaches, Playa del Carmen, Tulum or to the ferry to Isla Mujures. The Cancun bus station is also some 5 blocks from the hostel.

THE DORM ROOM
Is located on the second floor insuring a quiet night’s sleep. Originally this space was a rehearsal studio creating large shows with trapeze acts, musicians, dancers, and acrobats of the company cia de baile aves del paraiso. The oversized room is airconditioned, with wide open spaces, large windows, and extra high dorm beds. The bathroom is conveniently en-suite and comfortably designed for men or women.
