Disliked: Non-welcoming atmosphere, non-friendly staff. Breakfast was meager.

Liked: The location of this hostel is really good.

Disliked: They say on the website that breakfast and water is incluided but this is not the case. Breakfast is not available and water is 8 pesos to refil your bottle. I got the impression that this hostel would be more then the average hostel, but it is not the case. Just so you know.

Liked: The location was great, and the rooftop view was awesome. The breakfast was included, we had access to the kitchen and to computers with internet (I wouldn't say "fast access" internet though...).

Disliked: It was WAY to hot in the bedrooms, even with the window open! No air-conditioning, just a fan which was just working at the minimum so completely useless... In itself, the hostel is great, the rooms are OK but we had a very bad night there because of the heat.

Liked: The best of this hostel is probably it's location opposite to the cathedral. The view of the rooftop is awesome.

Disliked: The bathrooms and showers are disgusting. I didn't found the staff very helpful and friendly.

Liked: Perfect location and great roof terrace! Nice people working there, but unfortuantely the hostal is not well organized, they dont offer tours, the bikes are broken and nobody cares etc. some of the dorm beds were extremely dirty! watch out what you get and tell them if you find it too dirty.

Liked: The location was amazing, but everything else was crap.It said bi-lingual staff (thats not true). They were also not friendly and offered no advice on where to go and how to find things. We also got there and was told that we had to pay more money and their reason was simply that the "price had changed"...AND that our full continental breakfast with coffee and tea was not happening as of the 1st August, which is when we arrived so we got cereal and coffee. I would recommend this place ONLY because of the location.

Liked: Good location and nice staff. Would be nice if they actually had hot showers and, if they provided TP in every stall rather than just on the wall before you enter the stall. All said, it is a good place to stay.

Liked: Located on the main plaza...easy walk to most places...very pretty views...reasonably clean...no hot water except in the morning...cook your own breakfast...fast internet...very hot in the summer...cathedral bells ring loudly at 6am...my reservation was on file and my room was ready when I arrived.
