Accommodation Information

Each studio is a stand alone casita with queen bed, ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and a kitchenette with everything you need to prepare light meals. Each studio also has its own private terrace looking out over tropical gardens towards the swimming pool. We have also a nice and cheap accommodation in the "palapa room" and the only difference from the other standard rooms is that it has ceiling fan no air conditioned and it's divided into 2 floors.

Villa Tortugas is 2 km far from Akumal beach that is one of the most peaceful and ancient sites along the Caribbean coast. Every year hundreds of turtles come to Akumal beaches to lay their eggs. That’s why Maya called this bay Akumal that means the place of turtles. Villa Tortugas will let you enjoy the tropical forest’s charm, together with a relaxing holiday. You will experience all the beautiful local sites in the Riviera Maya. Akumal is the perfect place for eco-tourists, snorkelling and diving lovers; thanks to its convenient location, only 20 minutes from Playa del Carmen and Tulum, you can choose between a shopping walk on the Quinta Avenida and a visit to the National Park that falls sheer to the seven colours sea.
