La Gaulette village is at a stone throw to Le Morne beach resort, the village counts a supermarket, restaurant and grocery stores, some boutiques and a bank can be found in Le Morne.

Le Morne is located in the South-West coast of the island. It becomes a popular spot for kite surfing and windsurfing. Beginners and advanced kiters can enjoy the vastness of the La Prairie / Baie du Cap lagoon, providing a shallow and safe environment and allows downwind glides to Le Morne. The Le Morne spot is the winner of all spots of Mauritius. Due to the landscape that strongly boosts the prevailing South-Easterly winds in winter and due to a very specific and local thermal wind in summer, this spot offers ideal conditions through out the year.

The Pingo Studios situated in La Gaulette near Le Morne on the South West coast of Mauritius are a 2 floor building consisting of four fully featured studio's. Two on the ground floor with an additional two studios on the first floor which via an adjoining door can provide a larger residence.

All four studios consist of a wide living space decorated in quality furnishing and bedding. Great attention has been paid to detail to ensure the studios are both elegent and of a high quality.
