Liked: Proximity to supermarket, beach & restaurants. We were offered to use the villa which was great as the younger group could join us for barbeques. Recommend that you book the villa if you have the chance. It has a small garden and you can park your car there. All staff friendly and helpful. We also booked most of our tours through them as well. Thouroughly recommended.

Liked: We had an enjoyable stay at the Monalysa Bungalows in Grand Bay. Staff ensured our transfers to and from the airport were hassle free and were very helpful throughout our stay. The staff even helped us to organise our accomadation for our trip to Rodrigues by speaking french on our behalf! The company offers a wide range of local tours, and the rates are lower than the other touts in town. They are also not at all pushy about selling their tours which is refreshing. The apartment was spotlessly clean on arrival and was also given a thorough clean every 3 days, it was modern and well equipped and very secure. Location is very convenient for explooring the whole island as bus stops are nearby. Beautiful beaches and an enourmous supermarket are close by.

Liked: the appartment was really big, very clean and had everything you needs: oven, microwave, coffee maker the location is unbeatable: it's in the absolute city-center of Grand Baie, but in a side-road of the main traffic road. The beach is about 2 minutes by food. The staff was very kind and helped us with every little problem we had. For example, we couldn't connect to the internet at first, so all the staff did its best to help us in restarting their own modems and so on. I also forgot my sunglasses over there, but it was no problem. I wrote an eMail and the next day my sunglasses were brought by another guest to La Réunion, where I stay. I was really overwhelmed by a service like this

Liked: it is in the center of town. good beaches are reachable via bus or privat vehicle. Stuff/owner is super friendly and can help with tour planning! internet for free!

Liked: accomodation is clearn and big just 2 minute away from the beach,many resturants and shops around, tour operator avaliable from the hostel to provide service the another island.

Disliked: the hot water is so small can not take shower and the internet is not working from my room.

Liked: Stayed 8 nights at Monalysa bungalows. The apartment was very clean and spacious with a separate kitchen , bathroom and a large balcony. The location and facilities were excellent, the owners very friendly and helpful. A big advantage of Monalysa is that being also a tour operator they can help you renting a car, arrangeing excursions etc.

Liked: Monalysa Bungalows are amazing! The rooms are clean, spacious and secure, and the shower is hot unlike many other hostels we stayed at in Mauritius! The location is ideal and the staff, especially Eric, were very helpful. We definitely recommend Monalysa Bungalows!

Liked: This apartment was clean, friendly and has a good location. As a lone female traveller I felt perfectly safe and the room was larger than expected with good facilicities. The airport transfer was very convenient and I had a very friendly welcome.
