Liked: The location and the size of the room

Disliked: No hot water TV out of order owner unrespunsable, absent... The mental disabled who refuse to serve the breakfast

Liked: They organised taxi service to pick me up from the airport and were very efficient in communicating.

Disliked: There was a feeling that the personel is mostly concerned about getting the money and this made us feel uncomfortable. The very first thing upon the arrival (which was at midnight) was that they asked us to pay for the 2 nights stay, which usually is that you pay when you leave. As we did not have cash (and they do not accept credit cards), this created a problem and we could feel that the staff representative was a little irritated. We wanted to sort things out in the morning but there was no one at the reception wven though we left for sight seeing only at 10-10.30 in the morning. Even though the place was cheep, it was not the cheepest. Nobody cleaned our bathroom during the day and as the shower did not have a curtain, we had a pool on our bathroom floor during all our stay.

Liked: The rooms are big and pretty clean. The place has a huge terrace and a swimming pool. The location is good to reach by bus, and it's also near the airport. Value for money.

Disliked: The rooms are hot, there are fans on the ceiling but old and noisy, they don't help that much. The breakfast is just regular.

Liked: staff was really kind and helpfull, there is a nice pool, bus every 7min in normaln working day, 10-15min at weekends, fine breakfast

Disliked: there was no climatization in the room where I was accomodated and it also was under the roof, which means it was terribly hot. Also, hostel is located in the city of Tarxien, which is a bit far from tourist locations. I had kinda problem to find the hostel

Liked: If you are for relaxing holiday and lots of space within the property this place would be ideal for it. The house has the pool and two big gardens which were great if you like to relax and not be bother by other people. There is free internet connection and possibility of requesting a lunch or dinner of your choice. The staff was really helpful and nice to talk to. I would recommend this place for a group of friends or maybe weekend away in relaxing part of the country. It is not far from the capital city with possibility of getting the bus or a cab for a night out.

Disliked: The B. House is not that easy to find, so maybe there should be some sign at the gate or more instructions for people trying to find it themselves. Hostebookers were not so helpful with my quarries of trying to find the right number to call them and check the reservation on my own. So only bed experience about this trip was poor communication and customer service of hostelbookers. Oooh and one more comment about the BHouse is that if you wish for extra clean sheets and towels you will need to request some. Apart from that my 13 nights there were quite nice.

Liked: The staff was very nice and friendly. Trying to help you.

Disliked: Breakfast - very poor choices. The place very it is offered - very very dirty. The smell of the hostel you would need double wash all your clothes to get it out. Very hard to find - not good instruction about the address. No house numbers actually.

Liked: Very close to the bus stop and Valletta is only 10 mins away by bus.

Disliked: Not much going on and the kitchen is a fridge and a microwave.

Liked: This hotel has a very friendly staff. The rooms are big and clean. The breakfasts were lucious and filling and served with the greatest of service. The history to the building is awesome. The gardens are wonders to behold.

Disliked: It did take us quite a bit of walking around to find this hotel. The only address we had was 'Main St.' with no number. There is a brass sign on the door, when we finally located the place, but we had already passed it twice and didn't see the sign. A larger more visual-oriented signage would have been helpful.

Liked: I would like to thank the staff for excellent services, everybody was extremely helpful, polite and friendly. This was my 12th stay in Malta and on my way to the final destination (Xlendi,Gozo) I have slept in a number of places on the main island. Bowyer House is by far the best and I am sure I will return in future.The only recommendation (not a complaint!) is that I would appreciate more precise instructions how to find the place. I came at 11 PM and even the taxi driver had difficulties to find it.

Disliked: Marie left no negative feedback.
