About Hostel Malti

The terrace has always been the perfect place where travellers have the opportunity to chill after spending their day exploring our beautiful island or just sit back and get to share travel stories while sipping a cocktail in our jacuzzi. We also will be hosting Terrace BBQs on most evenings which can be enjoyed while winding down and listening to some chillout summer tunes.
We go out of our way so that you will be able to find an activity, interest or adventure that excites you, whether it is beaching, kite surfing, partying, hiking, scuba diving, cliff jumping, learning English, 4WD, biking, sailing, parasailing, shopping/market places, horseback riding, snorkeling!!
One of our many great achievements is when we bring people from different nations together! With the help of the atmosphere created by our rooftop terrace and the warm homely feel of the Hostel, we welcome you to be part of the good vibe that resonates here.

We do not have a 24hr reception therefore we encourage all guests to send their expected arrival time once they booked their reservation.

Accommodation Information

The Hostel's architecture is a converted Maltese townhouse dating back some 100 years. Our four bright and airy dormitory rooms; Sea, Sand, Sun and Surf are all equipped with individual lockers for you to use.

We have a strict rule that after 11:00pm is quiet time even though most guests are warming up for the night at that hour. So in order to continue the fun, on most nights we organize a small pub crawl to kick off the evening, these are fun and good value for money. In the morning in order for you to have a nice lie-in we have equipped the rooms with black-out curtains. And for our early birds, our fully equipped outdoor kitchen is very popular whether it’s a quick fry up or a healthy fruit salad.
It is important you inform us your estimated time of arrival at the Hostel (Please calculate 1 hour for the bus journey from the airport) as we do not have a 24 hour check-in desk

Location Information

Ta Giorni, St Julian's. The hostel is situated between Paceville (the clubbing district) and Sliema (shopping area). Hostel Malti is also a few minutes away from the sea and bus stops.
