The terracotta exterior highlights this budget gem in the heart of Sliema. The guesthouse offers very good facilities at a bargain price, including a fine buffet breakfast to fuel your island explorations. There are 12 spic-and-span rooms, all connected by lift, each with sunny yellow decor, simple furnishings and en suite bathroom. Family-friendly rooms can sleep up to four; wall hangings and colorful linen give a personal touch. On the ground level is a comfy TV lounge and library where guests can socialize, and on the roof is a sun terrace where you can work on your tan while taking in the skyline views.

This is a viable central option for seeing Malta's main sights - you're well within walking distance of Sliema's shopping and dining precinct, close to the ferry connecting you with Valletta, and a quick bus ride to the after-dark action of Paceville. Help is available for booking excursions, car rentals, visits to Heritage sites, Diving, English Language Schools etc.
