Liked: Perfect location in the old and quiet part of town, yet just 5 minutes walk from the waterfront. A helpful staff and nice, clean rooms. A fridge in the room is a nice extra.

Liked: Paulette was very kind and hospitable. She also was very informative when I had questions as to sites to see and transportation. The location was perfect as well. Easily accessible to seemingly everywhere.

Liked: Absolutely fantastic hostel ever!!! Why go for hotel but not granny's Inn??!! Five star service, full facilities and good breakfast.

Liked: Awesome staff! Very knowledgeable and friendly, always had good ideas of how to spend my day and helped me plan out bus routes. Very clean, good bed.

Liked: Very helpful and friendly staff, short walk to Sliemma Waterfront, nice breakfast, very clean and neat rooms, good beds, nice facilities (own light at each, fridge in room, etc.); very calm and quiet atmosphere.

Disliked: Rubbish showers (not hot and one button-push lasts all of 30 seconds); had to pay-per-minute for heating (I was there in winter, so it was chilly at night); limited reception/kitchen hours; wifi not reliable.

Liked: Nice and clean little hostel run by very friendly family in a quiet area of Sliema. Dorms are spacious, have sink, fridge and bedside lamps. It's not a party place but it's close enough to the restaurant and bar zone if that's what you're looking for. The hostel is easily reachable by public transport. Staff is helpful and hospitable.

Liked: The owners at Granny's Inn made my stay something really special! All of them are so friendly and helpful. I experienced a real hospitality and I am sure to stay with them again in the near future. Simply I cannot think of any other good place to stay in Malta!

Liked: A good clean hostel with excellent facilities. Not a 'party place' for those wanting to meet heaps of people though. More suited to quiet travellers, wanting a clean, excellently located, value for money hostel.

Liked: This is easily one of the best hostels I've stayed in so far. The proprietors were kind and generous and they even presented me with a small gift as a souvenir before I left. The hostel is operated by a pair of elderly man and woman and a female staff. This hostel take in students taking short term English class and they could be a good company during your stay. However, as there are only a few beds on offer, its not easy to meet lots of like-minded travellers, but you get peace and quiet in return. Though its a new hostel, I had a great time at Granny's. Highly recommended for stays in Malta.
