Liked: It was pretty cheap and the breakfast was very tasty.

Disliked: The dormitory and bathroom were very dirty.

Liked: The hostel is very well situated in the lovely area of Silema 5 minutes from the seafront & bus stop. It has very good facilities compared to many hostels I have stayed at ie plenty of space in all rooms, more than enough sinks & showers (with hot water always on tap when needed). The breakfast on offer was excellent & the staff went out of their way to be friendly & helpful. A very pleasant stay thank you very much. It is also excellent value for money & I would most definately given the choice stay there again. It was a pleasant surprise to see people of all ages staying here, as it caters for both language & university students.

Disliked: There is not much to dislike. The only thing is the pictures of the hostel on the site look alot better than what it is actually like in real life, if you are staying in the female only dorm. Also the entry door is quiet often open, which may make some people feel unsafe at night.

Liked: its in a great location in malta

Disliked: reception hours need to be 24 hour so they have control of people being there after hours with out paying and partying

Liked: It's in a nice location, the rooms are clean, and there's a little market next door run by nice people.

Disliked: Way overpriced. In general things in Malta are way overpriced but they charge for everything. 5 euros for a towel, 1.20 euros for a half hour of Internet use (usually hostels offer free Internet), etc. Also make sure you handle all of your business with the staff before 2 pm, because they leave and nobody is there until 7 am again.

Liked: Cheap, sitting area, kitchen, breakfast/

Disliked: No hot shower and dirty facilities. Front door didn't shut on its own, so it could potentially be left open for random people to walk in off the street

Liked: The breakfast was really good.

Disliked: The staff is not all the time at the residence, so in case you come late, you must wait for someone who will let you in.. mostly other people staying at this place.

Liked: Its location is actually very good, but we had a problem on our arrival. Having booked an apartment for 2 guests, when we arrived there was only one bed and one towel. We couldn't do anything since the reception works until 2 pm and when we checked in was already 7pm. The solution was to sleep in two in one bed, and the next day the hostess said it wasn't their responsability and could not apply a discount. Very disappointing...
