Hibernia Residence offers a wide range of comforts, facilities, amenities and prices, as well as family apartments that form part of a hotel complex or are individually managed.

Hibernia Residencia is one of Malta's only true hostels and is perfect for those after quality budget accommodation and a ready-made crowd of young, like-minded souls.

You're guaranteed to share living space with international students polishing their English at one of the area's language schools.

The NSTS Hibernia Residence and Hostel is located just 20-25 minutes by public transport away from the capital city Valletta, the island's main bus station. It is also just 2 minutes away from the rocky beach and a nice Promenade where you can enjoy a pleasant walk in the Sun and by the sea.

Important notice: minimum 2 nights stay with a 2 day notice about your arrival.1 night bookings can not be accepted in this hostel.

Accommodation Information

Rooms in general are well appointed; offer Wi-Fi, internet, TV, heating and air-conditioning, and public amenities are commensurate with the local star rating.

Facilities at NSTS-Hibernia Residence include internet point, telephone, safe deposit box, ceiling-fixed ventilator, convector heater, bed linen, towels, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, sound reducing glazing while services cover twice weekly cleaning and towel change and weekly linen change.

Alternatively you can relax all day and enjoy a tan in the sizzling sun at our outdoor swimming pool terrace beside the bar area.

Please note towels are included in the Private Rooms but not in the Dorm rooms. However these can be rented for a small fee.

Accommodation Information

The Residence consists of self catering single, twin and triple studios with private bathroom. It also has 6-8 bedded dorm rooms with bunk beds for all those who prefer a low budget convenient accommodation. Long term stays of over 8 weeks can benefit from special discounted rates on accommodation!

Location Information

Centrally located at Depiro Street in Sliema, Malta. The Residence is just 5 minutes by walk away from the lovely rocky beach where you can swim and enjoy yourself on the Sun. It is also only 10 minutes by walk away from the hub of Malta's night life - St Julians where you can find many pubs, bars, restaurants, cinema and shopping centers.
