Liked: The staff were friendly and very welcoming & hospitable. The kitchen facilites, wifi and common room area were very nice, it was refreshing to stay in a hostel that had some character as it is based in an old Maltese town house. The room was nice and big with secure storage space and although it is not in the most ideal location there is an excellent bus service only 5 mins walk away. The airport pick up service was excellent, Simone the owner picked me up straight from my flight when I arrived at 20:00 in the evening and drove me round the area showing me some sights.

Disliked: I did suffer from some insect bites at night because of an open window but used the fan with closed window each other night I stayed there

Liked: Nice location close to Valetta, very nice, kind, helpful stuffs, clean room and bathroom... Everything!

Disliked: Nothing :) but if there were any airconditioner, it would be better!

Liked: Ramplas Hotel was very clean and comfortable. The manager was very friendly and helpful. Ramplas is very close to bus services and close to Velttathe capital. Hoping to go back there and stay!

Liked: The staff were great and went out of there way to help me and facilities were fine. I enjoyed the atmosphere. I do have one complaint and it seems the same at alot of hostels and hotels throughout europe and that is the mosquitoes. These places do not have fly screens on the windows or provide mosqitoe nets over the beds so in summer u tend to get eaten alive while u sleep or try to whilst they buzz in your ears. Anyways all else was great. Maybe they could hire out mosquito nets for a small fee which i gladly would have paid

Liked: Near to Valetta and a 5 minutes to the bus stop. Easy for travel to any direction in Malta. Very nice place!

Disliked: We had a small problem to find the hostel first time, when we arrived, because at 19 pm there aren't people on the streets.There is a bus 72 very close to the hostel, but we didn't know that. We used other busses, who passe from Valetta to Sliema, but from the bus stop it wasn't a good explanation which street to take to come to our address.

Liked: Amazingly friendly and helpful staffs. Cleanliness.

Disliked: Very limited common spaces. Kitchen is tiny. Location is far from the main road ( Walk up hill for 10 mins from the bus stop to the hostel)

Liked: Ramplas Hostel is located literally steps from the local bus stop, which is only about a 5-minute ride from the heart of Valletta. The hostel is also within walking distance of historic sites, shopping, and great restaurants. This small hostel offers a very charming and traditional home-like atmosphere. Yvonne, the owner, is a warm, delightful woman who does her best to offer her guests an enjoyable and comfortable stay. A kitchen is available for cooking. Internet access and a TV are also available. For a fee, the hostel will provide transportation to and from the airport.

Liked: The hostel is in a house which retains its decorations, furniture and feel, so it felt more like a guest house than a hostel (including the rather elegant bathroom!) The Wifi access was great, nice spacious lockers and storage. The owners are very friendly and warm

Liked: full of character, more like a b&b than a hostel and spotlessly clean. The family who run it are great, incredibly friendly and helpful. Perfect place to go if you want to get a feel for real malta rather than the touristy resorts

Liked: WONDERFUL place. so glad i found it! the family who runs it greeted me so warmly- made me feel right at home! great location, great breakfast, beautiful hostel, supplied good info on things to do in malta- i hope i can come back!

Liked: Quite area and a quite stay at the hostel. The staff was wounderful, helpful, welcomming, friendly, scerviceminded and really nice! Great that the lady of the family stays next to the hostel and was accsessible all the time. Really good with the pirvate lockers in the room and great with the self serveing breakfast! It was also a very good hostel to stay at because it was easy to meet new people. Especially for me who travelled by my self. Really good value for the money.

Disliked: The ony thing I will make a note about is the pollow covers and the sheets. They were really worn and that made them so thin. And it made them look less clean than they might were.
