Liked: Very nice place to stay. Clean and friendly. Excellent cooked breakfast - set me up perfectly for two busy days exploring the island.

Disliked: I didn't want to do much in Marsalform. But the bus journey to Victoria is less than ten minutes

Liked: The view of the harbour from the bedroom and whilst having breakfast was amazing.

Liked: A superb characterful place 50 meters from the sea. More a boutique hotel, with the best breakfasts I have seen.Full Cooked, and or bread croissants, fresh fruit (strwberries when we were there), yoghurts puddings etc superb. On street parking or parking in nearby free car park. Bus stop 50 meters away. A great place to stay.

Liked: Beautifully presented in traditional Gozitan style. Despite it being situated in a somewhat busy area I found it a charming hideaway and, being a lone female traveller, felt completely at ease to enjoy the surroundings on the ground floor. My room was beautifully kept and the shower could not have been better!

Liked: My boyfriend and I stayed here for four nights and absolutely loved it. The family is wonderful, the service personalised, the guesthouse spotlessly clean and really charming. Went out of their way to help us - including early breakfasts when we needed them. Wonderfully indulgent breakfasts! Gozo itself was a gem to explore.

Liked: If you are looking for a warm place in Gozo, then Maria Giovanna is a must! It is a pleasure to see a family business run so well as it merges service quality and authenticity. The breakfast is amazing and the dinner is a great experience of traditional Maltese cuisine. Transport from the ferry on arrival is included. It is fairly more expensive than other hostels in Gozo but the difference worth it.
