Liked: it was cheap, but also for the same price I stayed in another hostels that were much better

Disliked: It was very cold, no heating. there were very dirty and smelly blankets in wardrobe so it was impossible to cover yourself with it in the night. We booked 2 beds in 6-beded room and on arrival they offered us private room for the same price. We accepted but the next day we realized that dorm rooms looked much better and nicer as the private room they gave us. View from our room was to another room which was some grenhouse. There is no key to lock the room when you go out. In general the whole place looks a little bit scary

Liked: atmosphere.

Disliked: Building looks a little bit as a Frankenstein-Castle. I was one of the only 2 visitors, what may explain tne creepy feeling you could have. The building needs a lot of improvement. It's come down in last deacdes. The wiring was just not safe.

Liked: The staff was very nice, upon arrival they immediately invited us to a dessert and later they let us make lunch with their own stuff! The price is quite cheap, the location is good and the place has "character", but I invite you to read the bad points!

Disliked: The place is a bit scary, especially at night; my gf didn't let me for a second. Toilets and showers are in the corridor.. I mean with no ceiling! The whole structure is old, rooms and furniture look like from another age: cleaningness follows suit. Rooms have no key.

Liked: most of the beautiful scenery of the sea and the architecture of the house. And i can not forgetting compatibility of all facilities.

Disliked: too many mosquitoes on the terrace :) and the rooms lacked air conditioning. but my money's worth.

Disliked: very catholic, enormous building like a former nunnery, can get a bit scary at night. also common showers and toilets are in the hallway. RIGHT IN THE HALLWAY. everyone can hear you poop.

Liked: Like an Escher print, this place has staircases everywhere, leading to mysterious nowheres in its interior. It's old and full of curiosities....parrots, for example, and a "hidden" backyard (private, it seems) with orchard, chickens, beehives. Great views down to the water. A likeable hostel, for sure, and not expensive at all.

Disliked: WIFI was iffy...not in force for half my visit. The computer blurry and difficult to read. The kitchen was huge (for the orphanage it once served), but the same lone blue towel never got changed, the dish sponge was old and of course full of germs (proven to be so when not changed at least weekly), and, most surprising, the pots and pans old, warped, lidless....really quite disgusting. And a tiny point, but why do they not put some rice grains in the salt shakers?

Liked: Helpful and friendly staffs. The hostel is Huge and equipes Huge kitchen, Big game room, movie room and lot of common spaces. Good Location. Beautiful view from the balcony.

Disliked: The room cannot be locked. Room could have been cleaner. Towel was very tired. Wifi coverage is very limited and not free. Game room is big but not free.

Liked: Amazing hostel! Incredibly friendly and genuine staff and guests. Very easy to meet people, plan day trips or just relax. Excellent environment- building had a lot of character (and characters!). Great view, nice places to walk, perfect place to relax. Definitely worth more than I was charged!

Disliked: Absolutely nothing!

Liked: Great atmosphere, perfect view,big terrace, huge kitchen, really charmful building, friendly staff... Really something special!!

Disliked: My room was just in time of renovating so it was not that ok, but when it will be finished it will be just great.

Liked: You get what you pay for. Great location, a simple 5 minute walk up from the Gozo Ferry Terminal at Ghajnsielem. Great welcoming staff and great views of the valley and the sea towards Malta from the bedrooms and from the rooftop balcony. Will be back!

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent value, lovely peaceful place, good kitchen for cooking in, fabulous sun-porch on the roof, bike rentals available, interesting other travellers. Not too much else nearby or going on in the town, so I would recommend this as a relaxing retreat-type getaway, it is *NOT* a party place! This is a good thing.

Disliked: Very dark, not very well heated in winter.

Liked: The best part about the hostel was the chance to meet new people. That was great! I was travelling by my self and it was easy to find new friens that you could hang out with. There was always someone that you could chat with. Near the harbour, nice hostel over all, amazing seaview from the terrass, good connection to buses and walking distance down to the sea. The location and the chance to meet new people will be the reason for me to come back and stay at the hostel.

Disliked: The service was not too good. I didn´t got the room I hade booked because the staff didn´t had downloaded my booking. If you have a hostel It might be goog to download the bookings you get so you know who will arrive when. I think it will cause less problems/missunderstandings. I don´t know how they calculated the amount for breakfast. There was too little ham and chees for the toasts. I asked fstuff or travel tips, what they recomennded me to see non the island but I got a I-don´t-really-know as an answer.
