Liked: Cheap and basic accomodation but just as you need it in the Cameron Highland. The staff is very friendly and helpful and there are also tours provided.

Disliked: The big dormitory can get quite noisy.

Liked: Atmosphere was good, nice location, friendly staff, very cheap, good services

Disliked: Rooms are very basic and small. Don t go there if you are in couple. It s not really a romantic place. Also it s not quite with everybody running around all the time. We could not sleep very properly. Finally the hostel is located just near the town garbage collector. You don t smell it when you are in the hotel but you do when you walk to downtown.

Liked: location, room was clean. Basic but clean. Offer day trips. Personally did everything with public transport. but good variety of trips for those who would prefer that. Offers drive to panang, KL etc for reasonable price. Has laundry service too

Disliked: Can be a bit noisy at times as the windows are like venetian blinds made of glass!and there is a pub right beside it.

Liked: They helped me look into bus transport

Disliked: The shower head had to be held, I was alone and really would have benefitted from staying at a hostel-hence why I booked it, and there was lots of confusion and struggles to get to such a disppointing place.

Liked: Room was clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. you can meet also many people there.

Disliked: The hostel is ok but if you have unsocial persons in the hostel who speak to load and bray in the night you cant sleep anymore.

Liked: The thing I liked best about this hostel is that, as a solo traveler I always want to stay somewhere where it is easy to meet people, and this place has a great atmosphere for doing just that. There were always other travelers hanging out on the patio talking, on their computers or reading a book. I really like places with a nice community space. The price was unbeatable, and the location was very convenient as well.

Disliked: I didn't like the treacherous staircase that lead up to the hostel dorm room on the second floor. Very narrow and steep! The dorm room is pretty bare bones; no outlets to charge your phones or plug anything in, no mirrors, not even a proper ceiling or walls. Just thin plywood boards nailed together in an attempt to cover up the skeleton of the structure. Also, they don't provide toilet tissue so you have to bring your own, and there's not really a place to put your stuff when you go to take a shower or use the toilet. All of the toilets have attached showers so it's a little annoying having to hold your bag in your lap so you can have the tissue, and you can't put it anywhere else because the floor is always wet. And finally, it would have been nice if they had some kind of breakfast option so I could have eaten before my early morning tour without having to walk the few blocks into town. They had nothing to offer so I went away hungry. I'm not a picky traveler so none of these things had a major negative impact on my overall trip, just small annoyances, and I would probably stay there again because it is such a great price.

Liked: The jungle bar is a cool place to hang out of an evening, can also take your own alcohol up there for a small corkage fee.

Liked: Great terrace that give the possibility to meet all the people in the hostel and spend a very nice time!!!

Disliked: The toilettes and all the areas of the hostel are quite dirty, on the terrace teh lights are shutted down at 10.30 then after that time you can't see anything and it is impossible to enjoy the rest of the night!!!

Liked: I like the friendliness of the staff, the atmosphere and the big pink couch on the front terrace! A great place to meet other travelers and share travel stories. Free wifi and over 1000 DVDs to watch as well as an economical place to stay makes it an ideal location to hang out for a bit, contemplate life and meet fellow travelers at the same time. Make sure to take the best trail guide, the resident dog Rocky, for your walks in the jungle!

Liked: Cheap and good location, movie room and baggage storage.

Disliked: Difficult to book for an extra night, staff didn't seem to know if they were full or not, so we booked elsewhere (more expensive) only to see that the dorm room was then almost empty by the time we left

Liked: Relatively good value but apparantly you can barter down the room prices to 25r which we didn't! Room was lovely, overlooking garden, communal area was brilliant to meet other travellers! Wifi was quick and always on! Lovely dogs and cats around the guesthouse! Showers were always hot!

Disliked: Sheets had hairs on them when we arrived. No plug socket in room. The trips from the hostel were very expensive and we found much cheaper in town.
