Liked: The staff were incredibly helpful, and while relaxing we also managed to arrange a large amount to do during our days! It was beautiful new accomodation; both the chalets and the dorms, great value for money, and it was right by the sepilok orantan sanctuary.

Liked: We had a lovely stay at Paganakan. The hostel is wonderful, clean and surrounded of green nature. The staff was very friendly and they gave us a lift several times to Sepilok Sanctuary, Sandakan and the roundabout (to take the bus to Semporna). 100% recommendable!

Liked: the atmosphere was so beautifulthe staff were lovely and really helpfulthe chalet was superb! tree house style, clean and cool. I loved it there!

Liked: Absolutely amazing stay. Spectacular views, gorgeous rooms and extremely courteous staff. The only thing to improve is the size of the breakfast! Would easily have paid double to stay at the best hostel in S.E.Asia.

Liked: My wife and I spent 3 nite. It was a beautiful place and the accomodations were great. The staff was one of the best that we have met. Helped to set up our trips to places of our interest. Food was very good. Only it was away from place of interest.

Liked: The rooms were like nothing I have ever seen before. You can slide the walls of your chalet to one side and take in the surrounding rainforest atmosphere, beautiful surrounding park and the staff were extremely helpful, from cooking food for you to booking a taxi to the airport.
