YMCA Penang has undergone major room renovation since 2003 with air-con, hot shower & colour TV come standard within each of the 70 individual guest room.
The property has been rated 2-star by the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia since 2004. The hostel is popular among the European & some Asian tourist and domestic travellers. Our in house facilities include 7 meeting rooms with various seating capacity of up to a max 150 persons, chinese restaurant of 200 seater, cafe & breakfast lounge, 3 badminton courts, multi purpose hall & indoor car park with surveillance camera
Our room rate is affordable and room cleanliness is always a priority. Domestic guests & business travellers frequent this place too
Our location is strategically surrounded by a cosy residential neighbourhood. While government & private hospitals, recreational field & state governor residence are merely walking distance away. Access to the beach & shopping centre are also within walking distance- 10mins or you could choose to ride comfortably on a cab/ taxi right at our doorstep & take a city tour all within 10km radius.
