About Cocoa Mews
Experience the heritage at Cocoa Mews. Originally built 100 years ago, this heritage house is characterised by a combination of modern comfort and traditional element of Penang, making it a distinct accommodation. At Cocoa Mews, you will definitely experience the classic heritage atmosphere!
Trips and tours can also be booked at our reception, so don't be afraid to ask. There will be pick up direct from the hostel.
Cocoa Mews has three types of rooms available - dorm (8 beds), standard and deluxe.
The private room type available is Standard, Deluxe and Superior.
Standard Room come with one queen size bed, TV, DVD player, electrical kettle, clothes hanger, multipurpose plug and free Wi-Fi in the rooms.
Deluxe Room come with one queen size bed, windows, TV, DVD player, electrical kettle, clothes hanger, multipurpose plug and free WiFi in the rooms.
Superior is a newly furnish room with attached toilet, one queen size bed, air conditioner, TV and DVD player, electrical kettle, clothes hanger, multipurpose plug and free WiFi in the room.
Bed sheets and linens are provided and all rooms come with reading lights and air conditioner. There are also shared bathrooms with 24 hours hot showers and pantry for the convenient of our guest.
Other facilities at our guesthouse include laundry service, tourist information counter, free maps of bus routes, and a free map of Unesco Penang, free Wi-Fi, transportation arrangements and smiles.
Cocoa Mews is located in little India, Unesco (Penang) It is just 5 minutes by bus from Komtar Bus Station. With its easy access to the public transport, you can save time and easily make day trips out of Unesco to Langkawi, Batu Ferringhi and other surrounding areas.
The location is ideally convenient but is quiet because the hostel is located one street off the main road. Everything you need such as convenience store, grocery store, bank, foreign exchange, post office, bar, restaurant and visa renewal service is nearby.
