Liked: It is a lovely old Penang building, full of character as are the owners. It is a little on the noisy side due to thin walls, but this is made up by the location and how lovely is is there.

Liked: This hostel was great, probably the cleaniest we've stayed in, good location and helpful staff, breakfast is also included, all in all good value for money. There is a tv area, but could do with some sofas to make it a bit more comfy, would then be a great place to meet people and chill out.

Liked: Atmosphere in an old colonial house very nice - reading room, terrace area; rooms simple but clean, clean, clean. Bathrooms impeccably clean. A simple breakfast offered - with lots of coffee! Very helpful at front desk and lots of helpful info posted around the hostel. A little ways away from the other guesthouses on Love Lane and Jl. Chulia but this was actually nice and really not that far anyways - a 5 min walk max. Borders along Chinatown and super close to Komplex Komtar. Maybe a little more expensive than some other guesthouses - I would have liked it to be cheaper, but still affordable and the atmosphere and security make it worth it maybe.

Liked: very small breakfas (but there is a food market in the street), good showers, decent rooms, close to main road and komtar, they are renovating now, but this gives no problems to guests

Liked: the hostel showers were fantastic, the best we've found! the hostel is a gorgeous old building and perfect location for exploring Georgetown! The people were all very helpful and the breakfast was simple but well done!!

Liked: Ambient is cozy and relax, location is strategic, staff are helpful and friendly, cleanliness. Except that the hostel need to do something about the mosquito(s).

Liked: Probably the cleanest, roomiest hostel we stayed in. Shared bathroom etc, but they are very clean. Good location in Georgetown. Would really reccommend this hostel.
