Liked: The property was clean and looked nice. The staff were helpful when we arrived and when asking for reccommended places to visit and eat. We paid for a double and the room was really nice, spacious and clean. The bathrooms were immaculate all the time and the breakfast was basic but nice and it was included in the price :)

Liked: the nice and homey structure of the hostel caught our eyes as we we were looking for the place in hutton lane. so remarkably clean!

Liked: Was the best hostel we have ever stayed at for cleanliness. Fanatastic that wifi is available for free and breakfast was really good. Location is excellent and staff are very friendly.

Liked: great character and ambience, good breaky in side courtyard, top quality rooms, quite stylish for a malaysian hotel, but unusually high amount of mosquitos around

Liked: The building is beautiful and full of character. The rooms, corridors and bathrooms are very clean and fresh. There is also complimentry breakfast which is always a bonus. Nice hot showers. Our room was quite noisy as near main road but that is the luck of the draw reallly.

Liked: Clean, fresch and airy place. Really clean and good showers and toilets. Nice and helpfull staff. Nice to be able to sit outside a bit away from the traffic. I really recommend this hostel, a good place to stay.

Liked: Hutton Lodge is a really beautiful restored building. It's in a really great location for getting the buses to anywhere in Penang. The staff were really helpful and super friendly. It was really clean and all of the facilities were new. All in all, a great place and didn't feel like a hostel at all. More like a nice small hotel.

Liked: Great staff, the hostel is more like a Hotel, dorms very clean and modern bathrooms.. free breakfast in the moring is a great way to start the day. Suits all ages.
