Customer reviewClean and secure but compared to other places we've stayed in Malaysia, not great value for money. Having said that, Batu Ferringi is a resort area and there isn't much competition at the hostel/guesthouse end of the market. Excellent beach access (which is mostly taken up by resorts). |

LIM PIK WANI liked the cozy-ness and laid back feel of the place. It feels like your very own beach home. The downside would only be the sound of car honks and loud music from the Sunset Cafe/Lounge opposite. I would come back for my next weekend getaway. |

Szucsne Nagy KrisztinaAli's location is really good - you are almost at the beach -this is a good thing. Though rooms are dark and small, so if you are with kids it's annoying. Also, there are so many regulations at the guest house (where to wash your feet, do not drink alcohol in the room, not to make noise, etc.) that you feel that you are in the army rather than in a guest house. Btw noise: it is very noisy, believe me.. It feels like cars going at your head. Anyway, Muezzin will wake you up early morning if you managed to get asleep. We've tried many places and it has never happened before that we left the place earlier than planned. |

Customer reviewRight next to the beach, you can wake up and go for a morning stroll along the beach. Close to some beach bars and so cost effective relative to the big hotel chains. Also walking distance to the night market. |

Customer reviewHostel was fine... although did not seem particularly busy when I visited. The beach is ok, but busy, people driving quad bikes, offering rides on horses etc, and parascending and jet-skis make swimming somewhat of a challenge (not many people in the water). Good night market... good restaurants and bars on the beach... but not ideally suited if you just want to relax on the beach as there is always music playing, people asking if you want to do water-sports etc. Good cappuccino at Mario's but its quite a walk... but there is also a bank hidden nearby with an ATM. |

Customer reviewLove the fact that the beach is right in front of the property. If we stayed in a hotel or apartment, we'd have to use a lift and get to the lobby and then walk out to the beach. I'd rather just wake up from sleep with the sounds of the waves and walk out to the balcony or the front of the guest house and the beach is right there in front of you.... |
