This hostel was on the beach.
It had a beach bar and cafe.
Was stung by a jellyfish and the staff helped me with some vinegar etc.

The staff are friendly and the place is clean and safe. The room is big and the toilet is clean. A great place to unwind and chill out

Personally im feel the staffs only will be more friendly to those foreign visitors, but not to the local one. Because from the way they treat me, a local visitors to thier guesthouse, so please take note about it if you really wanna be a good place for all.

Clean and comfortable hostel. Bar at the seaside is the best place on Batu Ferringhi. Parking may be a problem especially on weekend.

Beautiful location, ideal for beach, beach bistros and Ferringhi night market. Lovely green courtyard, extremely clean rooms and Jeff at the desk is ever smiling and helpful! The only downside is the closeness to the mosque's loudspeakers but that comes with the territory!

The fact we got to stay on a river rafthouse and the rooms really added to the atmosphere. Staff were really helpful and friendly, lovely to sit on the balcony in the morning having your breakfast

Nice relaxed atmosphere and breakfasts on the beach. Also good watersports offered by the hostel. Very clean rooms

great location- right across from the beach. LAB bar on beach is really good too. staff aslways friendly and helpful. hostel was clean. definitely worth a visit.

loved how this hostel is right on the beach with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby for everything that you need. rooms were clean and large. We really enjoyed our stay here..the highlight of our trip!

Location is great, (across from the beach)room was nice size for me. I got the A/C single room with a bathroom attatched. Across the sreet is LAB bar/restaurant, good food. Three bars right across the steet on the beach, best bars in Penang..

Ali Feringgi was the best place for me & my wife to rest and relax. The environment was so cool and fantastic since the last time we went in year 2005. We feel like we are home, the room is comfortable and value for money. We really had a very good time and memory at Ali Feringgi and we shall come back again in a very soon time.
