This was only an overnight stop for us before onward flight so didn't make the most of what they had to offer.
The room was ok for a night
Breakfast was very basic
The staff were very helpful

It was actually a hotel not a hostel. Staff were helpful. A good low budget hotel, breakfast included. Close to all attractions.

Place is not really a hostel. The best way to describe it is a very very old hotel. Rooms are ok and quite large. Our sheets were full of holes. If you are looking for a bed to just stay in this hotel is ok. More for couples than singles.

FIRST NIGHT ROOM WAS FACING TO THE BUSY ROAD, THERFORE
IT WAS VERY NOISY, SO I ASKED FRONT STAFF TO CHANGE
ROOM, HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND NICE AND GAVE ME
TWO OPTION TO CHOOSE ROOM. IT WAS NICER ANDQUIET ROOM. WE WERE HAPPIER.

Good location, more a hotel than a hostel but still plenty of backpackers around.

The breakfast was lovely and had a good range. The staff were so helpful, they gave us a total run down of Penang and where to go and how much to pay for transport. There are also plenty of books to exchange.

More of a hotel than a hostel and as long as you remember that you're okay. Helpful staff, good breakfast and ideally located for exploring Georgetown on foot. Big clean room with aircon was a great place to sort out stuff but not a wild party place.

The "hostel" would actually be better described as a hotel albeit a 2 ~ 3 star hotel for budget minded travellers. Great for young couples or couples with young families but definitely not the place for singles looking for a romantic interlude. Friendly staff, clean and totally unpretentious... oh, and a short walk away from "Little India": and other places of interest.

Fine location, friendly helpfull staff. The rooms are old and could need a update, but you get what you paid for. All in all a good hotel for the price.

This is a nice hotel and is excellent value for money. The staff are really helpful and knowledgeable and i would recommend it to everybody. It is probably too quiet for gap year students.
