Liked: A great place to stay, the owner couldn't have been more helpful. Very clean, although a bit dated. I would stay here again. Internet in lobby RM2 an hour was very cheap and useful! We didn't use the rooftop terrace as we didn't have time, but it looked like a nice place to hang out. He recommend a great little cheap Chinese restaurant just outside which was really good. Good walking distance to chinatown and main town area, but just far enough out to be in a quiet area.

Liked: The manager, Raymond, is fantastic, he really tries to introduce everyone to each other and make everyone feel at home. We went for drinks together with other people from the hostel in the evening and then went for banana pancakes for breakfast! Perfect situation for solo travellers looking to meet people

Liked: Alan is very very nice .He recommend us about how to travel and eat delicious food in malacca cos we don't have time so much and bring us around the city in the morning .I promise to stay at Ringo's Foyer Guest House again cos it like stay at home ,very warm .

Liked: It has the most helpful staff I have met in the 6 months I've been travelling around Asia. They make sure you are comfortable and have fun there. It is fun during the day and quiet at night, which is great. I absolutely recommend it. Also the hostel is clean and location is great, just by Chinatown.

Liked: WE LOVE RAYMOND! Ray is the best thing about this hostel from organising our meals to showing us the sights! He makes your stay interesting and really good value for money! You can even got to the satay restaurant or the zoo!

Liked: The staff were really friendly and helpful. the guesthouse was the cheapest around and in a very good location. Rooms were basic but clean, as were the bathrooms. Not noisy at all.

Liked: Location was great - right near Chinatown and only a 5 minute walk from the Dutch area and museums. Raymond and Howard (owners) were very helpful - always on hand to offer advice and show you were to go. Definitely recommend this hostel and the lovely hosts!

Liked: I statyed there one night at weekend.Their staff are really warm-hearted and helpful. Among all the facilities, the roof floor with chairs and tables is my favourite! You can enjoy yourself either by sitting there alone or by chatting with friends and BBQ.A nice place to stay with!

Liked: Howard, the owner/manager was fantastic. He directed us to all the best places to eat, sometimes even driving us there himself! location was great too. We liked the roof terrace. A big high five to howard, who went way beyond any other host to help us enjoy Melacca.
